Tried a few more times to sync from scratch but everytime it ends up on a chain that is roughly 150-200 blocks ahead of the official explorer, so a wrong chain. It also means that im not the only one and other people are on this chain too.

Try to sync only with the explorer node, maybe you can

downloaded the new wallet and the blokchain. After opening it tells me the database needs to be rebuild. The wallet will say 'wallet loading' and nothing else happens. I tried on 2 computers, one i left running overnight and now its still on the 'loading wallet message'. Closed the wallet. Tried again, now it showed someactivity (loading block index) and gets stuck on 'done loading' now everytime i start it will stay on this message and no more activity.

try this:

1 - download the blockchain of 03-09-2020.

2 - open a new wallet (and wait for it to sync)

3 - transfer your wallet.dat para a wallet 4.2.0

Unfortunately the same result. Is it fine if my blockchain folder is not in the appdata/roaming folder? (it worked on previous versions of the wallet)

Withdraw your coins they say....I got almost 11 billion QTC stuck in there. While there was an option i wrote them a support ticket but no reply.
There is no way to deposit any more. And they ask 0.02 ETH fee to withdraw those that i dont have in my account...
