There's another thing playing a big role here called reputation. If you are accusing someone with the reputation of that level as suchmoon you really need to have a solid proof.
On the other hand, newbies most of the time have nothing to lose and often cross the line, so from what I've seen until now suchmoon has a good eye for spotting shady business and in 99% of the cases I totally agree with him/her (this gender thing is still a mystery to me).

There is some circumstances that would suggest this could be true. Suchmoon is quite possibly an alt of lauda. Lauda was given special treatment by FJ. Why? Some say lauda was involved with running that gambling site.

This is actually not correct.  The United States has become much more lax over the past few years with gambling.  I live in Illinois and with the new year came not only legal weed (praise be to god) but gambling too.  On my sports radio channel they advertise for Bet Rivers online sports book all the time.  You've also got Fanduel, Draft Kings..to name some of the big boys and god only knows how many others are out there.
