I'm a small-time and occasional gambler. I cannot belong to the high roller category. And most especially during this time of crisis, I can only spend a very moderate amount of money for gambling. But that itself is already a luxury to me.

As your blog is saying, "choosing to play high stake slots means that you have the money to wager..." Thanks for the emphasis given on the underlined words. Moreover, I also don't have a VIP status in gambling casinos, which provides a lot of exclusive rewards and bonuses.

But who knows? Perhaps in the future I will also be one of the big-time rollers.

So if that is the meaning of high roller, I don't use a large amount of money because I only a small gambler who uses a little money to play gambling. No matter what game I played, I always limit to use my money because I don't want to get bigger losses.

I am just a regular spinner because I know that the chance to win on gambling will not be bigger. So it is better to play safe with the limit money, so I don't need to bigger money.

I have never really seen the "fun or entertainment" appeal of slots but I've had a fair experience playing them (online or not) and I would say that I am "a regular spinner" since that is what I can afford and I don't see the point of risking so much money to something I don't really enjoy playing.

I like to be one and many wishes to be a high roller that's the ultimate goal of every gambler to become big and become a high roller, I'm not a high roller not even bet once high amount of money, and you are right there are a lot of excitement if you are betting a big amount of money compared when you are betting small, I don't know how to be a self made high rollers, but you can be one if you are filthy rich which so many of us are not.

I don't usually play slot games a lot of times and I'm just a regular one. I don't really spend a huge amount of money on gambling since I can't also afford to lose them. Though I kinda agree that it would really be more thrilling when you invest more money since you can win a huge jackpot prize but it also has a bigger risk so I can't really take that kind of risk.

I’m a regular spinner, in the past I have rolled with high amounts but once you get burnt a good few times you change your tactics

I am definitely not a high roller or a whale in gambling. On the casinos where I am playing there are usually 3 types of categories you need to choose from before gambling. On the Black Jack and roulette tables you choose between micro (10c to $10) standard ($1 to $100) or high stakes ($50+). I usually play the standard buy ins, but when losing quite a few games in a row I find myself going back down to micro stakes. I hope one day I have enough bankroll to go for the high stakes.

I am not a fan of this type of gambling. It's hard to win, and my abilities can't change anything on the outcome.
Most of the time there is a very low possibility to win... this is why I like to play penny slots, even with dice site I don't wager high amount (no more then 1/5 euro).

If there's some research on the popularity of high limit vs penny slots, it would be interesting to see it. I also wonder how much money is spent by the gambling community on each type because I suspect that penny slots might actually get more money from players.
Regarding the popularity and preferences, I think high limit slots might have a lower marginal utility than penny slots. I mean that in the case of the latter, you're still getting satisfaction from the game, and is the satisfaction that much higher on high limit slots?

The percentage of winnings at gambling establishments cannot be used as a definite reference because in fact each game the results you get will not always be the same, sometimes the results are different from what you have repeatedly recorded. so if you are just testing it will only be a waste of your capital.

I am not a high roller but have had some high rolls I regretted for a long time. And of-course repeated. I'm still in the process of controlling myself from rage bets and I'm somewhat convinced with the progress. I haven't at least gambled my whole bank balance for an entire year now. Meanwhile I've seen a lot of highrollers and their fates on online gambling. Most of them making a good progress and being greedy to lose it all again.
The win are always co-related with the amount you bet and the risk you take whatever be the game. There's just a small difference of house edge.

How much bet/spin is considered a high roller? Obviously not me because 99.9% of the time I only bet $0.1-0.3 lol
