AFAIK, there's no such website that can do that unless you're the one voluntarily downloaded something from that website. But by just visiting it even it's a not secured website, you'll get nothing until you click some decoy buttons that serves a launch button, that's where you'll get started to download a malware and make your pc infected.

We don't know about that because many people are just clicking the link in their email, social media, or else without thinking about the malware. Visiting on the website can make us a target for them, and they can track what we use or what we did. I don't know much about security, malware, or how the malware can search for the way to go inside my computer. But maybe you are right.

It is what I think, if there's nothing you have installed through those malicious link, I think the PCs clean. Unless you press a button that's being labeled with another function just to fool visitors. Well, just to end it, never click any of them and this is going nowhere as OP has already provided detailed information that it's a scam.

this alone is enough to prove that they are a scam gambling site. no reputable or serious online gambling site will ask for a for money in order for you to withdraw the money that you have won.

also, searching through the web for a possible review for the website funxbets I came across this website https://www.funxbet.com (it's my first time seeing funxbet) I am not sure if the two websites are related or not but funxbet is a lot older than funxbets.

That was escalated quickly, I have expected the debate will go for a little bit more. New gamblers should avoid depositing in such websites, the common scam machine has the same methods for scamming the users. Good luck on depositing a minimum of $100. First glance of it seems it was rushed and I think I've seen the same interface before. It didn't escalated that fast. You only have to read through the thread and look for the posts of OP and that's where it all ended. Casinos like where OPs friend went through has to be avoided at all cost. But the problem for most newbies, they don't care checking the legitimacy of a casino. Someone asked me if i'm in cryptocurrency and I said yes then he said the same thing that I can earn money within an hour then he give me the site. So, I am sure that the site is a scam scheme.
