i would worry if i would be a nationalist in the baltic states, they have huge parts of their population that is russian and that lives there as second class people.

Well, his invasion of Ukraine obviously went exactly to plan and he was able to take over the whole country smoothly and easily in a couple of days, without any mess, civilian casualities, western sanctions or global condemnation...

Even if he wanted to, it seems highly unlikely that he'd send the incompetent and demoralised remnant of his military somewhere else to open another front. I really can't see it happening. Although with Putin, who knows, difficult to rule anything out.

Russia has already lost one war with Finland in 1939-1940.
And this despite the fact that the Finns did not have heavy weapons, snipers and Molotov cocktails were their main weapons.
On the example of Ukraine, one could observe how clumsily Russia is waging war.
In the case of Finland, Russia simply has no chance.

That was his initial plan, however it failed miserably. It's been way over a month and I don't see light at the end of the tunnel. Anyway, Putin has indeed threatened the neighbouring non-NATO countries, however, I can't seem to find anything to backup OP's claims regarding military movement nearby Finland.

Putin's threats against non-NATO countries are nothing new, I don't believe that they will ever be fulfilled, Russia is losing the war.

There's a golden rule that applies in most cases, anything the enemy says, it's false propaganda and a rumor. While I'd take Putin's threats seriously, since he's currently invading Ukraine, he's certainly a world security threat, I highly doubt that he'd try something like that. He's already failing in Ukraine and at the same time, if something like this were to happen, the EU and NATO would probably step in to stop his advance.

Well let's just say that there's always something going on in there, i am not informed if they moved it or not and mostly rely on our army intelligence being aware what's happening. From what i gather there's no signficant changes on troops or equipment in the area. And to be honest i personally don't think they can afford keeping too much troops there right now.

That's not the point though, is it? As you've mentioned yourself, the technology has vastly improved, which would lead to a greater number of casualties. Putin is recruiting soldiers as young as 18-20 years old, nobody deserves such fate, irregardless of what side you're on.

The point is to avoid evolving the war into a larger scale one, because soon enough, it would expand throughout the whole Europe, with huge casualties. Someone needs to pull Putin's plug.

Also Finland is now more united then ever. Russia was actually doing a good job with their trolls before all this and Finnish people were very polarized on various subjects. Now it seems that we are united as hell and most of us want in nato which is something we didn't want at all before Russia invaded Ukraine.

Seem no reason for Putin to move to Finland, they are yet not done in Ukraine. Unless there is something in Finland that threatens Putin's security.

Putin will have to be careful in doing something else beyond Ukraine for it could upset the neighboring countries. They are yet not affecting militarily to any country yet besides Ukraine, they'll continue doing that while it enriching Russia with natural resources and cutting Ukraine of gas.

I can't just say what Putin is actually looking for, not only about Finland but also Sweden I saw on a headline news some days or weeks ago about Russia thraithning to use their Nuclear weapon on those countries should they join NATO . A thorough question needs to be ask here,  does Putin has the capacity to fight 3 countries Ukraine, Finland and Sweden in case the later decided in joining NATO or is it just a mere thrait?
