It is high time to enter the era of digital currency (the era is at its initial stage in the countries of the African continent), which is difficult to manage and which is more effective in combating lawlessness, violence and police brutality.
A lot of Africans are into digital currencies Nigerians especially that can be gotten from daily volume on Binance, with this data you can evaluate how coefficient it is with the Nigerian populace. N.B they are not limited to trading on Binance alone.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I am not sure if bitcoin implicates a positive usage with these protests. But I'm sure that Bitcoin is doing fine by providing freedom for the people of Nigeria to still have financial rights. CBN blocked accounts are examples of how manipulative government can become and this is the main problem that we are facing with centralized banks and finances.

Just make sure that we are going to use our freedom wisely, not all protest is healthy for the benefit of us, IMO, we still need the government's supervision anyways. However, if it is evident that the government is not doing what they are supposed to do. Bitcoin is all we need.

I think most people are not looking at the main point here, they are probably looking from the protesters point in which they feel btc is not effective to their cause, well to me, I think through this action by the government of that country, it shows how effective btc can be an alternative to fiat Currency especially when the government of your country is trying to impose some restrictions.

In the past few years the governments around the world are trying to silence their wrong doings and it is worrying to see that a ruling government have the ultimate power to silence and shut down everything you have and own because you voiced your opinion against the government in the form of protest Shocked. Glad that we have a decentralized currency that cannot be confiscated by these irresponsible government.
