because, i see a lot of new defi project still created by now, maybe this hype will stay until Q1 2021

Defi sphere is still very popular and I myself see how many cryptocurrency companies are created in defi sphere, and on this forum bounty companies from defi companies are constantly appearing now and I think that defi sphere will still show itself and most likely in 2021 defi sphere will still will be popular, so keep an eye on defi projects.

also in my opinion decentralized finance is not only a hype, this is somekind of a new trend in crypto space

Not that DeFi projects are over but I think the hype is over because it is not as much as it was before now, I will even say it didn't last long and those who made their profits are happy and those who didn't are left with series of losses. Also, looking at their prices now, I believe many people will be asking themselves if they made the right choice. In the same way, with the hype gone, the true state of the projects will be revealed hence we will know the serious team and those that do not care but only leveraged on Defi hype to achieve their aims.
Furthermore, just as this is the same case scenario as ICO, attention will be moved to those old but worthy coins such as Bitcoin and the rest in order to limit losses.

I think DEFI is not over yet, now many ICOs and IEOs DEFI have sprung up in the crypto currency world,
this can easily expose us to scammers, so if you want to invest,
it's better to invest in old projects, such as Ethereum, XRP, or EOS

Personally I can't see a #defi exiting the market because they're still bumming with the hypes from new investors around the community. In a short interval, we have seen defi doing just great than others like ICOs and IEOs in the past, though we should be mindful of the market volatility around it. I think we are yet to see the goodies that are there in defi existence. Also, we should be careful with other happenings which can lead anyone to loss.

yep agree, as I know BSC network (binance smart chain) is still just getting started. Many DeFi projects have just started in BSC, many people currently use the BSC network because in ethereum GAS fees are very high. I can say the DeFi trend isn't over yet.

However, the DeFi trend at BSC is an opportunity for scammers. Today many are victims of scammers.

Yes, the scenario is improving for the big coins and we can sense the focus is going to change to top coins again so if you were flipping defi projects it is right time to get back to giants like btc, eth, ltc etc to witness and ride bulls.

I still think that top and well reputed old coins like bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, ripple, stellar and some more are here to stay and they will always be the first movers, although i have a view that stablecoins volume will soar in newr future but that too will boost the main coins.

Defis are far from over, infact they are just starting, yes, the initial hype has gone away now and from now on defi market will grow organically.
As far as the good old coins are concerned im mostly bullish about them and i do not think any trend can devalue them.

The DeFi era isn't over, it's just now natural selection is taking place, good projects will last and others will take turns.  We have to be smarter in choosing because now many scammers use the same method to cheat.  Lately I have often encountered flash airdrops that require sending fees even though their tokens have not been listed anywhere, they also do private sale by sending money first, we need more careful

The occurrence in Defi now is also compare with the 2016 dump with DAO, and this didnt deprive the eventual pump in 2017. Some believe a level of repetition is expected in this market for Defi like in DAO. My only fear is the hack of the saved fund and exit scam but the financial economics is simple and could give profit for all long term investors. The dump has not prevent new Defi from having their ICOs and they had been successful in past few days. i want to positive even the 60% dump in price of the Defi market.

Are there standard coins? I never heard anything like that in crypto space. People usually state "top coins" or "trusted coins" for the coins like Eth, LTC, EOS, XRP, BCH. Regarding the Defi hype, I think you shouldn't conclude it as scam hypes, it is totally wrong. Scams aren't related specifically to Defi, scams can happen in all types of crypto projects. Please, learn deeper about Defi, so you will know the truth.

I don't think so that DeFi is over it will sustain 1 more year definetly.But your mentioned coin is top rated and these coins not going to make hyip. Like defi goes to1$ to 500$ something like that. These coins are pumping and will pump by following the btc race. But for safe trade these are good.

Old coins like xrp will always stay firm with its potential to compete along different coins who soar in the marketplace. I have no idea yet for the DeFi tokens, but if their project will take a stand against other uprising projects; that's the time revolution commences. The opportunity will come and prosperity changes our way of living once every goals achieved successfully.

When we get something new (ICO, IEO and DeFi), we are ready to grab all of it. We know everything can't be good about something. I'm sure in the future we will have some good DeFi projects like dfinance or DIA. From the upcoming we will get a more interesting project like Chainlink. But some new coins couldn't enter the top list in a short time.

You have to accept that the Defi projects have started to give up. All of them are started to decline, thus if you have invested them better to sell it now. From ICO, IEO, and now Defi, they all gone just like how volatility we are.

Anyway, I was expecting this to happen as well. They come into hypes even those shit projects, no wonder why it goes like this and sooner or later they all be dead.

I know that not old coins are good for investment but much more for new coins. I keep Bitcoin and some altcoins that I think is profitable, maybe you can take that as well.

When we get something new (ICO, IEO and DeFi), we are ready to grab all of it. We know everything can't be good about something. I'm sure in the future we will have some good DeFi projects like dfinance or DIA. From the upcoming we will get a more interesting project like Chainlink. Like most trends that have happened, what makes it look bad are the many fake, half-baked, poorly planned projects that make DeFi's niche a little cloudy. Actually, Defi is still potent enough to be used to get profit, as long as we are able to implement a good strategy, most of the current defi are suitable for the short term, except for projects that are really potential as you mentioned, which seem quite promising in the long term. but always remember everything is at risk, dwyor.

DeFi trend lost its momentum. Many scam projects were born and dead. Scam developers exited with codes of smart contracts.

Lately the Binance exchange launch their new Swap pool that can help them to maintain position in crypto market and help people save fees when moving their funds. If think of it further, this adaptation of Binance makes some newbies lost money because they are moving funds between different chains. The receiver party won't help them to recover funds if they make mistakes. It is newbies' fault because they don't notice on warning when withdraw or make deposit.
