Stellar partners with USDC and jumps 10%

Stellar has made a deal with USDC, the coin issued by Circle/Coinbase. They would also be available on Stellar blockchain now. USDC has been exclusively on Ethereum and Algorand blockchain till date. It's considered to be one of the best fiat backed stable coin.
And with the news, the ever stagnant market of Stellar has jumped up 10% in last 24 hours.

it's gonna bigger more, okay we know about circle using Stellar as Official Chain for USDC, but besides it, on October 19 later, there will be an IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings event which it CEO of Stellar as a Panelists. Since we know Stellar was made to support digital representations of any currency which USDC, the most trustable stable coin has joined and with that event talking about cross-border payments, i wonder how big XLM later.

Because I rarely check my cryptocurrency portfolio, I was a little surprised to read this thread and it's true that the stellar price went up 5% - 10%. I am very happy to hear this news and now is the time to enjoy it.

I was looking for the reason of the sudden jump of stellar so this is the one. I wonder though why it took them so long to make a partnership, as the project has been in the crypto space for years now. Anyways, it's not late, and I will assume that more partnership will be coming because the crypto market is really hot in recent months, and not only Stellar, I will not be surprised to see more projects partnering in the future.

Im so glad to see that news and it's the same with USDT. USDC has already tried to expand its service. We will get more choices to send the stable coin asset with almost zero fees for our transaction.

I guess usdc will do another expansion to the another blockchain soon.

Great news for the hodlers and supporter of Stellar and I didn’t see this one coming, I missed the pumping party under this coin. This is a great move by stellar, but they should also work with their system to improve it and make some big changes to sustain the up trend and for the investors to see its true worth and invest more.

It's because the hype has started to slow down already, usually this kind of news just lasted days and now we are seeing that it is already winding down. Nevertheless, this is still a good news though, as someone said, we didn't see this coming, or at least they has been hide from the public eye. But if you have been in the Stellar bandwagon, for sure you will be happy seeing your portfolio in a day or two growing as much as 10%.

Good news for stellar, a few years ago I was a stellar hodler but I sold it to fast and missed the best era in 2017. Stellar has had great partnership and I think this year or 2021 will be a golden era for major coins. But we are know right,anything can happen in crypto but add stellar in our portfolio is not something bad

Thank you for providing this info because I rarely see stellar news lately. Lately it's been a little boring because the major coins have just been sideway and DeFi is getting more hype but this time I am happy , at least there is a new "great news" and I am always waiting for the movement of major coins, especially the Top 20 cmc.

Good news for stellar holders any collaboration between top projects can only mean a big pump on the price, because this is what investors are waiting it will kick the price because many are going to buy more that 10% is just s starting point there's a possibility that it will reach 50% in the coming weeks if investors received a lot of updates.

Considering how far they dump since the time I bought this coin makes me feel meh because this 10% is not a big help on my portfolio at all. Maybe new investors is happy on this movement but not those solid holders like me. In general, this is good move towards mass adaption for XLM but I'm still expecting more on this project rather than this partnership.

10% pump is only for traders, lol . Those people who are just buying the rumors and selling it after a good profits.
This kind of news is really common on cryptocurrency these days even before, but I am amazed, it is only around 10% even the news is kinda good, well, I will start not to surprise now, because if that kind of news way back 2-5 years before is already a huge, and expect a more than 20%-50% pumps or even above.

They partnered long before the news was released. As the legendary investors said 'Buy the rumors, sell the news". It is the period for old altcoins after the hype with DeFi tokens are over.

DeFi tokens are shit but they were pumped to the Moon since July. Now, it is time for old altcoins and Stellar is the first skyrocketting old altcoin. I am waiting for more old altcoin skyrockets. My portfolio and me are waiting for news from other old altcoins.

IMHO, the definition of the best stable coin is subjective. For me, there's a better stable coin and that's the decentralized one.
The coin is Dai.
But for those who do like USDC and Stellar, I think they're teaming up to beat USDT which has different network built on.

Yes I understand, I've been this kind of stuff many times, so it's not new to me, good for you if you do the right timing to sell or buy but for those who like to ride with the pump, it's not a good idea as price has already dump now.

yeah, we are just focused by DeFi performance since a few months ago, this pandemic also a factor to selling major coins, bad performance make people try their luck by take action to Hype DeFi rally.
