now when I try to withdraw they ask to verify the account by depositing 0.1 BTC in the account from an external address
I want to know is this a legit website or not?

Can you be more specific about what "secured deal" means? Does this exchange have any KYC verification and if yes, how you trade there without passing the proccedure?

Do not deposit any money to any site for verification purpose. You will lose that money.
It is a scam for sure. No legit business will ask you for a 0.1 btc deposit to verify yourself.
If some sites even ask for verification deposit then its only cents not 1300$-1400$

Most likely you have been sent "fake btc" through this site. Thats not real btc and cannot be withdrawn. Dont have high hopes for that and just move on.
If you paid to get money there then unfortunately you got scammed already and lost funds, but avoid doing same mistake twice and do not feed these scammers.

Its a good that you first came here and asked instead of sending that deposit.

You are mostly right but we don't know all the parameters/ details of this specific case, not even if the one who asks the amount is the real support of the exchange.
With a very small checking test, I tend to agree with you and I will not deposit anything there but I might be wrong.

By completing a secure deal you mean they gave you a bonus in an account in the exchange?

Sorry to disappoint you, the BTC you are trying to withdraw is not there. What you see in your account are just cooked up figures intended to make you think you have some BTC.

I have visited the website and it looks like one of the many scam exchanges I have seen before. I don't send them any BTC

Why just now you question the legitimacy of the site and not prior using it. There is no such thing as a form of verification thru depositing a decent amount. BTC0.1 is an insane amount just for that.

Just did a quick search about the "secured deal" and if my understanding is correct, it's like a P2P form of ecxhange with the involvement of the site administrator. If the service is legit, your transaction is clearly a success and the site shouldn't ask you to deposit that amount. There is also a possibility that you dealth with one of their minions on that deal to make it look legit.

Looks like you need to move on now and accept the lost. The site itself is the only that can help you but since they are asking a crazy requirement to withdraw your funds, then no one can help you.
