There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Yes, they were all mined with (mild overclock) from the middle of July to October 12th.

Good to know.
Yet here they are...in mint condition physically-not a speck of dust on them as I live in a hepa filtered house. And mint functioning condition-they work just like the day I bought them.

Hey, that's funny. It's so weird you mention that. Actually I didn't quit mining because of the BTC price and the power bill, but because my house (and whole neighborhood) blew up from this single power supply.
