I haven't seen any Gamblig Platform who used Telegram for Promotions, most I know is that they use Discord.
Do you have any Idea why they don't have any Telegram Communities? and why does it seem they don't use this platform for their promotions?

Maybe because Discord provides better experience, it is more forum-like with various channels while telegram is more hectic with everyone talking in the same channel. That is just my guess, as I prefer Discord over Telegram and I find it superior.

Telegram is a mess. Discord is more organized with all the different channels for each topic to be discussed.
Telegram is good if you're planning to build a community of hunters and Discord is for the pro/gamers I guess?

and by the way, there are also gambling sites with both telegram and Discord such as Gamdom.

I personally do not see the need for these channels because most, if not all, casinos already have their own chatbox.

They don't have telegram communities maybe because it's not effective to use this platform for their gambling promotions. And they use discord because most gamblers prefer to use it compare to the telegram.  I think these are one of the reason why they don't prefer Telegram.

Telegram is now so bad that many scammers have come so that the discussion is irrelevant what is being said, but Discord users can know what to discuss. Everyone understands about the gambling platforms that are promoted there so much safer there than scamer.

I know that there is rarely a discussion in telegram but there are still many communities on telegram but they can't make any money from the promotion and it can mess up what is planned in the marketing.

Telegram is just a chat that all of the users chat there together and your question will be buried by the answers and questions given by everyone unlike in Dischord, they have categories of where a question is designated. If you wanna talk about the platform in general they do have #general channel for the platform. If you wanna check jobs available there are also #hiring or #jobs there in Dischord.  You simply just know where your inquiries should be for the discussions to be organized.

Probably there are more reason... few person use telegram (it requires your real phone number) meanwhile you can join easily discord.
Programming a new bot in telegram requires time and effort, and it's no more then a bot that reply to simple programmed questions.
Last but not least in telegram there are a lot of scammers and scam activities , it's very easy for an user join the wrong channel... and no one want get a bad reputation.

I guess it depends. Some have promotion on telegram as well. For instance, sportbet.one is very active in telegram. Nevertheless, gamblers prefer to use discord for communicating while playing games most of the times and that's the possible reason I guess.

To be honest there are scammers on Discord too, but not as many as on telegram. Telegram is really something else when it comes to that.

There are few many sites which use telegram platform. Stake and primedice both have telegram channel for it's VIP user where the give update about various promotion and bonuses. Bitsler also have a telegram channel. I remember there are more sites with telegram channel like ParaDice, WinDice, DuckDice, tower.bet etc. DuckDice.io and VipGame.io also have telegram chat group for their user.

There are some disadvantages of telegram chat group. You might know that people use scam attempt through telegram private message. And it's too much nowadays. I have seen scammer sent same message to many member of a casino group, I have faced it too. Maybe for this all site doesn't like to use telegram.

Discord is the place where gamers meet, and I see Gambling fit this niche very well.
I personally like Telegram to receive communications and chat with friends, just. I hate Telegram and WhatsApp groups, I have them all mute (don't notify).

Discord is different... I access it whenever I want and read whatever I want because it's all organized and separate.

I believe that this is the same thinking of gambling platform.

For me what I've seen in Discord is it's much more organized rather than the telegram in Discord you can create sections for different topics maybe for Casino section, Sports betting section, Support section, Announcement section, etc. but imagine it in telegram all of the topics is combined in just one section and it's really a mess.

The telegram community is the best way how to promote gambling sites or find referrals in large numbers, so far I am active in several projects both ICOs that require looking for referrals to airdrops. Almost every day I promote in the telegram community and I have a telegram with a number of members of more than 2k people, of course a large enough number if you want to get referrals and be a place to promote both gambling sites or other sites. It is better to build a telegram community because in the future many bounties and other systems will pay to place advertisements on your telegram community account. Especially with betting sites that have very large prizes when you get referrals and regularly make deposits at any time, imagine if there is a site that dares to give up to 10% of your total referral deposit and has 10 referrals is enough for gambling capital.

I tried both, hated both. They suck.

Discord was a little bit better but in the end I uninstalled/removed both and never looked back.

Telegram and discord may be required by the gambling platform community to discuss various problem they experience on the site. But in my opinion, both of them cant be used as effective promotional media because they can be used as a forum for discussion and not infrequently it just ends up with lot of spam and endless discussion. There are many other suitable and effective media for promotion, such as twitter, facebook and another bitcointalk forum. There are a lot of crypto communities using this medium, and I think they would also be interested in gambling on the platform if they got ads from trusted sites (if they were gambler).

I don't use telegram or discord to discuss anything about gambling, I am more interested in using the bitcointalk.org forum to discuss something if there is a problem because the forum has a wide community about crypto-based gambling. This is just my opinion, it can still be wrong.

aside from a lot of scammers in the telegram wherein if you post something about your concern in casino the telegram is not organized as discord. i think only community projects only uses telegram but honestly discord is much better.

pretty much all tron and eos based casinos run promotions on telegram , chips had several promotions for their telegram group so it's not a general thing at all
I rarely join casino communities groups but I have joined several ones in telegram and the numbers of active people are really big , I think the majority are using telegram these days TBH

^ I agree with this. Probably vast of the majority in gambling websites promotions using telegram. I admit to myself that discord will better than telegram but the easiest way to use and handle community is a telegram. Probably OP recently used gambling sites are using discord but as I know, most commonly are in telegram. Nevertheless, some gambling sites are having their own forum, not in social media telegram and discord.

Telegram is just way out there. You have a main channel, then you have another channel linked from that main channel. It's hard to follow updates on those kinds of messaging rooms since it is highly-unorganized. Whereas on discord, you will have a dedicated server AND channels depending on your liking, so discussions, announcements and promotions would be easier to follow and messages are less likely to clutter in different places where they shouldn't be. Discord's organization on almost everything is, IMO, what makes it likeable and preferable for advertisement managers of crypto gambling platforms and crypto-related services in general.

Didn't know that casino uses telegram or discord to promote their website. Well maybe I just don't take focus on their social media platforms since I'm more into the game on their platform.
