Anyone here who can help me with a stuck BTC transaction

I did a Bitcoin transaction two days back for BTC0.0014 using Mycelium wallet and have accidentally reduced the fee to 4 sats. The transaction is stuck and is not getting confirmed.  I have rebroadcasted the transaction multiple times but it is not working. I neither can cancel nor delete the transaction.

I do not have any miner friends therefore I cannot get it confirmed manually. What options do I have now?

Same happen to me as I set very low fees for transaction and now its stuck so I talk one person he give me tip just wait hopefully this will settled or returned in your wallet after 72 hours so now I have nearly 62 hours just very few hours more for this all so you also have to wait for this.

You need to be a sender to sign and broadcast or rebroadcast your transaction while you can not if you are a receiver.

Your transaction will be confirmed within this weekend, so if you are not in rush, do not bother yourself, it will be confirmed before Monday. But, in case, if you need the bitcoin to be confirmed as soon as possible, you can try what SquirrelJulietGarden has commented. Supposing you are using like electrum wallet, you will be able to pump the fee using RBF (please by fee) but I do not think mycelium support such.

But, alternatively, if you want to send to another address like now, and you have your recent balance output from the last transaction (your unconfirmed transaction), then, you can use CPFP (child pay for parent) to get the transaction confirmed by using normal to high transaction fee.

The mempool has just cleared up. According to Electrum fee estimator, a 4 sat/byte transaction would be positioned 2.0 Mb from tip. So, most likely, your transaction will get confirmed within the next few hours.
One of my transactions (20 sat/byte) have been stuck for the last three days and it got confirmed today.

He can't. Viabtc requires a minimum fee of 0.0001btc/kb to accept the transaction. Sadly, OP's transaction does not meet this criteria as it was broadcasted with only 0.00004btc/kb.

IMHO, the transaction won't have any chance to get confirmed in real soon like in the next couple of days because you mentioned you did made transaction with fee of 4sats/byte which is really low compared to the recommended fee, it maybe already confirmed even if you used 12sats or above when you broadcast the transaction.If you are not in a hurry then nothing to be worried.

Next time make sure you set the transaction fee which should be same as the recommended fee.

It depends because in order to use RBF, the option must be chosen before the transaction is signed and broadcasted. You can not use RBF if you did not create this type of transaction.

I checked Electrum and with Mempool option for fee estimator, the wallet recommends 6 satoshi/byte that likely fits with mempool status. With that fee rate, transaction will get confirmation within 2 blocks. I guess the rate you were supposed is at the latest dip of mempool.

The used fee rate is low than recommended fee on that day but today it is enough to get confirmation within 1 hour or at worst within 24 hours.

In reality, the mempool was dipped to the rate of 4 satoshi/(v)byte a few hours ago but did not clear all waiting transactions at that fee rate. I hope OP was lucky enough to get confirmation in the dip. If not, let's wait for coming chances till tomorrow.

It's the weekend and today is Saturday!

Mempool was cleared about more than 13 hours ago after stacked up recent days. As of writing at 19:08 PM UTC, you can move BTC at 4 satoshi/(v)byte. If you check on https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#1,24h, you can see that the total size of waiting transactions for fee rates from 4 satoshi/(v)byte and above is at 4.18 MB. Therefore, you can get first confirmation within next 6 blocks with fees at 4 satoshis/ (v)byte.

I am expecting lower fee rate because on Sunday institutional effects usually become smaller and fee can be cheaper. I believe that you can have chances to move your bitcoin at 2 satoshi/ (v)byte tomorrow, on Sunday!

I haven't experienced it again to have a delayed transaction for a day or two. The last time that I've experienced it when the network was crazy and very much congested. As they've said, your payment will arrive to you shortly or you can update it now if it's been confirmed.

This is the best time to do transaction that you can set with low traffic of transactions for miners to confirm.

Issue has been resolved

My Bitcoins did credit the other wallet yesterday. I was re- broadcasting the transaction at a regular interval as I mentioned in the OP.

It took more than 48 hours for my issue to get resolved. So, my advice to newbies or anyone facing the same issue, please continue to broadcast your transaction at regular interval and never ever reduce the fee when Bitcoin's USD value is going up or down otherwise you will also face the same problem.

But what did you mean by "re_broadcasting the transaction"? You said you were using Mycelium. I didn't use it for quite a long time but as far as I know, Mycelium, as pretty much all other wallets, doesn't allow broadcasting transactions which consumes the same inputs!
Or you meant you were using a transaction accelerator?

Yes, you can rebroadcast the non confirmed transaction on Mycelium Wallet.

You need to select the pending transaction and click on the three dots besides show detail at the top right-hand corner. It opens up a new menu wherein you will find the rebroadcast link. When you click it you will see a confirmation message at the bottom stating Transaction Sent

I caught in problem once. But there were no other things to do to push my transaction fast. I didn't know about RBF. Whatever I just waited for my transaction to be confirmed and that took around 24 hours plus.

Yes I used it recently and Mr.Spider703 helped. I sent a tip to Mr.Spider703, and I figured, a tip is not urgent, so I put a 1 sat/vbyte fee. The recommended fee would have been higher than the tip... It took about a week to be confirmed, just now it has 25 confirmations.

Next time I will try a 0 sat fee to see if it can make it (only for non urgent transactions obviously).

If you read the last OP's reply then you will know that the OP's problem has been resolved. The thread you mean in my opinion is quite helpful for those who have stuck transaction. But to be honest I have never tried it because so far I have done more transaction with the recommended fee.

There are 2 things that will affect the waiting time of your transaction:

• Mempool condition: will it remain stable or will it be loaded up more within short period?
• The likelihood of next found blocks: how long next blocks will be found?

1. If mempool condition is stable, first you are lucky because no more waiting transactions with higher fee rates load up and your waiting time will depend on the second factor. If mempool is loaded up more, your waiting time will be longer than initial expectation.
2. The average block time is 10 minutes but time interval between 2 blocks can be in seconds, or longer than 10 minutes. It depends and you can not control it.

So I assumed mempool condition is almost stable, if the fee rate you use is 2 MB from the tip, that equals to 2 next blocks at the time you broadcast your transaction. The waiting time will be anywhere in between 1 or 2 minutes (rarely to see 2 new blocks are found within few seconds) to more than 20 minutes.
