Which is more important bitcoin or fiat?

It depends on which currency can be used for transactions in the country. As more and more countries become familiar with Bitcoin, Bitcoin may be more important in the future.

But if we consider current stage, fiat is more important than bitcoin. People are still knowing bitcoin and day by day the users of bitcoin is increasing. But at this stage, people are using fiat on most of the purposes.

Most people need physical money/fiat because a lot of country still dont accept crypto currency.
Here in our country some accept online/crypto currency payment but when it come to needs and wants we still need physical money to buy.

Even if Bitcoin become more familiar with all the countries, fiat's position will always be one notch higher because as you said, people still use fiat for different purposes in life while bitcoin only plays an important role as an investment, even many people don't consider bitcoin to be too important when they don't know and are not interested in investing in bitcoin. The world may lack bitcoin, but it is certainly indispensable to fiat, it is a product of government economics, its role is associated with development and people.

on this stage we are still in a covid/pandemic situation and bitcoin right now is actually more important than fiat  in my opinion . if there were no covid/pandemic , bitcoin can be important to some countries like what @Mituletr said because there are countries were fiat is close to being useless due to their value or how being valued by the people living on that country .

The answer may be simple.
If you want to use it for daily needs and payment, fiat is more valuable because it can be used directly for payment (especially in a country where Bitcoin is not legal as currency or money for payment).
But, f you are a lover of technology development, a future investor, and also a trader, of course, Bitcoin is much worthier.

As one of a little user of bitcoin both are important, but as what you ask which one is more important, I choose fiat because I use bitcoin to earn fiat or I used bitcoin to make fiat to support my needs, and that's my first priority.

The importance of something is base on its use and situation, in my situation fiat is more important, next is bitcoin because I used bitcoin to make fiat.
