Voting has been extended until December 15. Since this is a non-profit event, people are not very active, so it will take a little longer than I thought.

Community Awards 2020 is a great opportunity for us to express our appreciation to those special people who are doing their best for their community, for all the good deeds, and for the impact they have on bitcointalk. If you know a user who deserves an award in one of the categories, feel free to nominate them.

What awards are awaiting the winners? Public recognition is the most prestigious award. Please note that "Bitcointalk Awards 2020" are not an official event and will be held under the auspices of the community. If the administration of the forum wants to express gratitude to those who have made an exceptional contribution to the development of the crypto community, we will learn about it together.

Summary:	From the moment of publication of the thread until December 15, a public vote will be open, in which any active member can take part. Any user has the right to campaign for or against other candidates in a separate thread specially created for this. Who will be among the top three winners in each respective category depends only on your activity.
	We will be using the IRV Voting system. For the voting system to work, any nominated candidate must have the support of at least three users. Candidates with the least number of votes will be eliminated. When the timer reaches zero, we will close the reception of votes by blocking this topic and summarize the results. To ensure fair voting, the entire counting process will be recorded in a Google Sheets. After all the votes have been counted, the candidates who received the largest number of votes and those who took the I, II, III places respectively become the winner.

	Best Forum Moderator	We fear and respect them, they are harsh, but fair. The award is given for the support and development of the global or local sections of the forum. The moderator is always polite and answers your questions - give him a voice. Is another moderator helping with a technical issue? He deserves your vote too! Who to vote for - it's up to you! You can only nominate candidates who held their position in 2020.
	SpamBuster	The award is presented to an outstanding volunteer for their invaluable contribution to maintaining order on Bitcointalk. Outstanding reporters can also fall into this category, There is no reliable information for the last year, but you can watch this thread to find out more.
	ScamBuster	The award is given to an outstanding volunteer working exclusively for the benefit of the community. He adheres to a certain and fairly firm moral code, relentlessly demonstrating an inexhaustible enthusiasm for identifying abusers on Bitcointalk.
	Golden Feather or Forum Guru	The award is presented to the participant whose name symbolizes trust and wisdom. His messages are always pleasant to read and discussions with him are satisfying. There have always been people on the forum who stood out from the crowd for their writing style and objectivity, and now we need to determine the best of them.
	Event of the Year	What event had the biggest impact on you? This nomination is a tribute to the events that have been most visible in the crypto community. Given that this is the first annual award, you can nominate and vote for all significant events through 2020.
	Fail of the Year	The most promising event, which brought a lot of disappointment to the community. It is much more pleasant to remember pleasant events, but nevertheless, it will be useful for us to draw conclusions in order to avoid disappointments in the future. What was the most difficult thing for you to come to terms with?
	Troll of the Year	The most skillful trolls incite the most violent disputes and provoke the loudest conflicts, without which the Bitcointalk would be boring. The Troll is undoubtedly possesses many psychopathic personality traits. Entirely detached from reality, the Troll distorts the truth in an unsuccessful attempt to gain attention. There is no vote for this nomination.
	Discovery of the Year	The award is presented not only to novice bitcoiners, but also to other active users participating in the life of the forum. The person who is willing to help you find the thread you want, or just give good advice. Perhaps one of the most unexpected, but at the same time iconic nominations, which shows that Bitcointalk is alive, developing and growing.
	Bitcoin Geek	A nomination for those who are passionate about Bitcoin to the extreme, (a person does not need to be a technical expert to become a btc geeks). The person you just need to ask and he will tell you one of the many interesting facts about Bitcoin. The award is given to the participant who you felt was the most helpful in the Bitcoin-related areas, who helped the most with the tricky tasks, or who simply chose a ASIC for your grandmother.
	Bitcointalk Ninja	The award is given for exceptional contribution to the development of Bitcointalk, and for maintaining interest in blockchain ideology. A person whose activities are extremely useful for the crypto community, or someone without whom you cannot imagine a forum. This personality is a role model for aspiring bitcoiners. In this category, the truly creative people are judged, and now it's time to determine the best!
	Craft Master	A person who pursues his craft with passion and enthusiasm, his professionalism regularly supports public interests and events. The award is presented to those who truly love their job, be it a professional activity or a hobby.
	Antihero	He never wanted to be a villain, but he had to accept the rules of the game in which he “plays black”. Remember that even evil has its own principles, so such a person is capable of anything, even if it does not benefit him. Therefore, sometimes you even want to hug him and cry, Well, or kill him first, and then "hug and cry." Trolls does not belong to the "Antihero" category, please read the nomination description.
	Absolute Hero of Good	The award is given to the informal leader, the presence of a cult is encouraged. This outstanding man has devoted many years to serving the community and has left an indelible legacy by doing community service without regard for personal gain.
	Miss Bitcointalk	Now on Bitcointalk, girls are in the minority, (4.6: 1). All the girls are wonderful, interesting and important. I understand that picking three winners from our beautiful girls is heresy, but who could be Miss Bitcointalk?

The event of the year made me surprise because Lauda left the forum. I didn't really noticed that he/she had gone permanently. Well, one of the best bitcointalk.org user had gone. I hope he is fine with his decision to leave the forum.

Anyway, let us move on. Eversince I joined the forum. There are many controversial issues, highlighted users with their unbelievable posts and events happened to forum. It is my pleasure to see the events. Respect for the users such as suchmoon, vod, nullius and LoyceV (and a lot of legendary members I idolized) because of their dedication to give the forum more light and keep this more alive. Even there are users who had gone such as a prodigy Lauda and Tman, there are still users who are willing to contribute for the forum. If there are rewards, OP listed are deserve to be given.
