Ja na svom Trezor One imam samo Bitcoin i Bitcoin-only firmware tako da ne mogu ni da hoću koristiti altcoine bez promjene firmware-a. Ali Trezor nema aplikacija koje moraš instalirati kao kod Ledgera tako da nećeš imati problema sa nedostatkom prostora.

Jedini problem na koji možeš naletiti je da ti uređaj ne podržava neki coin. Dobar primjer je npr Monero koji ne može u kombinaciji sa Trezor One. Mislim da su tu u pitanju hardverska ograničenja kod tog uređaja. Kod Trezor T modela, Monero ima podršku ali je nema u Trezor Suite aplikaciji pa moraš svoj hardverski novčanik povezati sa 3rd-party novčanicima, slično kao i što i Ledger radi.     

Vidjet ću još kako sve izgleda kad mi dođe wallet. Do sad sam od hardware walleta koristio samo Ledger pa ne znam kako drugi rade. Kod Ledgera je isto bilo da ne podržava neke altove ali to mi nije toliko veliki problem. Barem do sad nije predstavljalo problem. Ne volim puno "kemijati" s hardware walletima da mi se ne dogodi da nešto zeznem. Kao primjerice sa spremanjem ordinalsa na Ledger. Kao podržano je (barem mislim) ali vjerojatno je puno kompliciranije nego imati ih na Xverse mobilnom walletu. Zato jednostavno na hardware walletu imam samo coine koji provjereno rade i nema komplikacija.

Kod Ledgera je isto bilo da ne podržava neke altove ali to mi nije toliko veliki problem. Barem do sad nije predstavljalo problem.

Trezorovi hardverski novčanici podržavaju dosta altova a Ledger ih podržava još više. Ako ta dva brenda nemaju podršku za neki coin ili token, onda stvarno vrijedi upitati jel to nešto što vrijedi čuvati i ulagati svoj novac u takve projekte. Ali kako si sam rekao, planiraš tu prenjeti svoj bitcoin i ethereum i s tim nećeš imati problema.   

Kad dobiješ svoj wallet, postavi par slika u mojoj temi Show off your hardware wallet. Šteta što Imgur više ne radi na Bitcointalk-u, gotovo sve slike su izgubljene iz ove kolekcije. Na Meti je bilo govora da je moguće slike sa Imgura automatski na Talkimg prebaciti. Moram provjeriti jel to funcioniše i kako.

Naravno da nije kad ih nemaju na stanju. Naručio sam prije skoro mjesec dana i još ništa. Kod narudžbe je pisalo da će doći u 11. mjesecu pa se nadam da bude uskoro.

Baš sam prošli tjedan išao tražiti kontakt da ih pitam kad misle poslati pa sam vidio na na njihovoj stranici da će narudžbe napravljene nakon 26. listopada slati tek krajem ovog mjeseca. Nisam naručio Bitcoin only jer ne planiram držati samo BTC na njemu nego i ETH. Budem napisao nekakav review kad ga dobijem.

I Bitcoin-only i Univerzalni model podržavaju isti firmware. Firmware ti određuje šta će od kriptovaluta uređaj podržavati. Ako instaliraš Bitcoin-only frmware, onda možeš samo Bitcoin čuvati. Ako instaliraš multi-coin firmware, možeš raditi sa svim coinima i tokenima koje Trezor i Trezor Suite podržavaju. Razlika između ta dva modela u izgledu je u poleđini. Bitcoin-only model ima žuti/narandžasti poklopac a kod univerzalnog možeš birati između četiri druge boje.

OK, ali samo sam htio da ti skrenem pažnju da nijedan od Trezorovih hardverskih novčanika nisu samo za Bitcoin već da sve zavisi od software-a (firmware-a) koji je instaliran na njima. Za razliku od Trezor-a, npr. Coldcard ili Foundation Passport podržavaju samo Bitcoin i na tim uređajima ne možeš raditi sa altcoinima.

To be very honest, I don't have a lot of patience and time to study this scenario.
I always prefer to buy from the official website. I just wanted to know which country of origin they send the order from. I'm from the EU, and you already know that you have to pay customs for anything that comes from outside.

Evo jučer sam dobio mail da mi je Trezor poslan. Valjda će doći kroz 2-3 dana jer šalju iz Češke. Baš me zanima kakav im.je softver u odnosu na Ledger Live. Svakako napišem dojmove ovdje.
