Warning, there is a fake https://dice2.win/ website out there, I wanted to put this on the Scam Accusations, but there might be few gamblers specially newbies who might not frequented that board and didn't see this warning.

I put them side by side for you to see that there's not much difference and you can easily fall for it specially if you are not checking the URL.

I can't find the ANN thread of dice2.win, but I got a few hits when I do some search, so definitely, this site is well known to many gamblers since 2019.

In telegram, i found this pinned message in top-room of dice2.win group :

🛑 Be aware of scams - our staff will never ask your private keys or passwords, especially in PM!

And this is the reply from manager :

Hi, we are aware of the fake site - but sadly we cannot do anything as it is not under our control, all we can do on our end is remind users not to fall for any schemes.

It would take some effort but it's very helpful and easy to find IMO.

Thanks for sharing, I have come across a couple of sites of that style, when playing it says that you won around 0.03BTC and when you go to withdraw they tell you that you have to deposit to enable withdrawal, turning out to be a complete scam.

This type of scam often uses a phishing method to mislead the player. Since I have been playing casino sites I usually visit their ANN thread to verify its authenticity.

Yeah, I forgot about their telegram group, I also search in this community because this is the best source of information out there, thanks as well for letting them know. Probably the best we can do is to report this site to Google: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en

@Norkys.2020 - there's a lot of that type of scams, even scam crypto exchanges ran like that, someone will message you in Discord and Telegram giving you this so called promo code to an exchange play the roulette win but when you are able to withdraw it, they will ask for deposit, do not fall for this trap. Yes, you can check the official ANN thread here just to make sure everything is legit.

Thanks op nice research, it's a courageous to everyone in forum not only for the beginners because people falls into victims of scamming due to lacks of information, and since the evidence is clear I don't really think such will affects bitcointalk users again since the information has circulated and well captured through op threads.

Nice catch, reporting impersonating domains to registrars is quite effective as well.  Their domain registrar is GoDaddy.com, I don't know if they are as effective in taking down fraudulent domains as namecheap.com but let me wait and see. I have reported the domain.

You should not download anything from any suspicious source because we know what will happen next when you downloaded that file. They have been online for about 5 months now, so more than likely they screwed some players already.
They cloned the site and players who will not check the domain name will think this is legit site.
The fake site is not secured while the legit one is secured.

Hopefully many will be able to read it as it's really unnoticeable especially if we're using crypto and doing online transactions we should be very careful in checking the domain. It should be secured and will not ask for too much details like our codes, passwords and account number as casino only requires username in creating account.

I also look at the two sites, they are almost identical except for that metamask option, the fonts size, the domain of the fake site being not secured, and not mentioning the domain name itself.  Also, there is no bet counter on the fake site though newbies won't probably notice these differences.  So it is a good thing OP did create this thread to warn us and not fall to this fake site's scheme.

This is very important as just like what you have said, scam accusation thread are not being watch by many. With this catch it will bring attentions to every gamblers to check this of information before sending their money.

Not just for this site but for sure it bring awareness and from time to time checking sites and all information will be taking place.

I think they can do that, reporting it directly to the domain registrar as others are doing and it will put more weight and pressure on the domain registrar because the one that should report it is the original website themseves.

It's really hard to distinguished if you look at the fake and real website. Very very similar in design color and everything, 99% copycat except for the subtle difference that @serjent05 pointed out.

This hadn't been a new issue anymore yet there are already thousands of scam and including this kind of scheme where they do tend to phish out by using up
popular website by fooling people into same design and domain name with a little bit of alteration but not that noticeable.
For people who do love on google search then most likely be the victim of these.

Looks like an abandoned site and just leaves it like that for scam attempt. The majority of the links aren't working and for a first-time visitor, they should have a question of why the site is like that and will result in not trusting it. Hopefully, while it stays abandon for long, there's no recorded scam happened before.

Somehow, the official and legit site should have an active community here for new notices such as these fake sites. Their official Twitter page isn't that active and I can't search their Telegram group.

Oh Man, the fake looks same as the original without any difference. The color pattern too is matched better. I've come across such fake sites being used to trap traders creating similar fake exchange websites. This is the first time with a gambling site replica developed to hack the gamblers taking their login credentials.
