Sending merits to someone who makes a post that is full of knowledge and fruitful discussion is really appropriate so that other readers will learn. We are here to learn, become updated, and know how cryptocurrency can change someone's life so don't hesitate to make a good post every time you do. Posting informative, straightforward, and factual topic and making critical discussions are really and good and necessary in this forum and when you do that, merits will come to you.
I did send my smerit to those who I think deserve it. I even run a merit giveaway before when I have accumulated smerits when I reach full member rank. It's not that hard to find constructive post so I did send it as soon as I found one that deserve the very smerit I earned.
