Hi, I have a 5700 xt and non xt and I set 750mV in bios for all cards. Gpu clocks arround 1300-1400 is working fine.
Any of you have experience lowering voltage under 750mV on this cards?

Could you post vgpu and gpuclock?

Thank you.

I have my cards on 725mV.

I have core at 1400 and memory at 1800-1850 depending on cards and brands. From my personal exp., Sapphire Nitro+ are best.

Here I use 725mv

1240 Core Clock, 1900 Memory, Hashing 54.5Mhs stable and using 130w to 140w at the wall

This is the best I managed to achieve, it's the limit of my GPU, Gigabyte RX 5700XT gaming OC

You were able to mod Gigabyte successfully?

My gigabytes are Rev 2 and i bricked those couple of times trying to mod.

If you don't mind, could you please let me know how did you mod?

Didn't mod this card, I only used MorePowerTool to be able to reduce core voltage and to adjust the fan curve
I read some comments, included yours, about difficulty to modify the bios of these Gigabyte cards, and I prefer to leave untouched
If I brick this card I won't have warranty, so I'm happy with the hashrate of 54.5Mhs and under warranty for 3 years

Where i can find that info about the gigabyte rev 2.0 and the problems with the bios?

I have one gigabyte but is 1.0 and is excelent for mining. I bought 2 more and now im afraid if they come with rev 2.0 .... :S

Oh alright. Thanks!

After bricking it, I was afraid to use MPT as well to increase the Memory frequency and reduce the voltage.

Will try this now!

You won't be able to mod Rev 2 cards the usual way you do with other cards.

I have been given some tips that these need to be modded with Rev 1 first and then modify the timings and mod again. But I didn't try this.

I'm at 1840 Frequency and get ~53+ MH/S

I BIOS modded a Gigabyte rev2 card using one of the rev 1 bioses on the bios repository. It only added about 1 to 2 MH/s more, but it let me drop my RAM speed down to 880 (1760) and still get a decent 52MH/s. Considering I still have to use the air conditioning here in California despite it being November I'll take what I can get.
I modded using the method Red Panda mining pointed out on his 5700XT modding video.

Sapphire Nitro video cards have very good memory cooling, so the memory can be overclocked.
Samsung memory can operate at a lower voltage than micron memory, but using micron memory overclocks well.
These values will have to be adjusted individually after several days of testing.

Don't be afraid to use MPT, because this program will only modify parameters on windows, the bios of your GPU will stay untouched, without any kind of modification.
This is the good side of MPT
I used this video to learn how to do the "soft mod": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X77N4sDXP9g&t=353s

So... this is a simple and good solution. Uses BIOS of Rev1.

If someone wants, i can upload a bios rev1 mod. I get 54.6 with 110W on phoenix.

You're going to get at least 50MH/s with a Gigabyte OC with or without modding the BIOS. If you're trying to get best bang/buck you could do BIOS mod and get to the lowest vcore that your GPU will tolerate and that is largely dependent on GPU lottery (quality of silicon). Ambient temps and cooling solutions will also influence how much you can push your VRAM because it's going to get hot.

Sorry but 50.6MHs for 160w is really bad.

I have a mix of Sapphire Pulse 5700XT (x4) and ASRock 5700XT (x2) and average around 57 MH per card @125 watts.  This is the core watts, so you need to add 35% to get to what the entire card consumes (memory, fans, etc).

All mine are BIOS modded using AMDflash 2.93 after first extracting the rom using GPU-Z.
