If you are either buying or selling there are two major things you need for both.  Make sure you get a pic of the item in question with something signifying you are the current owner, like a piece of paper with your user name and date next to the product.  And second is always use or offer escrow for transactions.  And the escrow agent should be a trusted member here.

Avoid making transactions that the other party is demanding that you will not avail an escrow. If the other party is reputable and can be verified through his trust score, you can have the option not to use an escrow.
But even if he has a good trust score, it's always the best choice to hire any of the available escrow. It will make your transaction ease and safe.

Determine whether you want to buy or sell, and then try to gain trust, as it is easy to gain, then you can buy and sell easily.

But if you want to make it easier for you. put a large amount of money on the escrow, for example, 0.3 bitcoin with some trusted account, and then you can buy and sell without the need any escrow. seller/buyer with ask the escrow member to recover the money if any scam occurs.


In the end, gaining trust needs more money and patience.

The safest process is: never transfer money or goods to anyone (including high ranking members) first and should use the escrow service at the forum. You absolutely don't let your guard down even though you have successfully traded with that person many times.

P2P transaction would be the safest but we know its only limited via localle but if you do tend to go international then having escrow would be suggested if you are buying into someone.
Its a hassle process yet trust would be the main issue in most cases because due to anonymity feature of crypto then someone can easily scam out without delivering the item or

P2P transaction would be the safest but we know its only limited via localle but if you do tend to go international then having escrow would be suggested if you are buying into someone.

p2p transction is not safe because there is no middle man involved on this unlike to non p2p like a centralized exchange , binance for example where they manage the funds that goes out and goes in on thier platform .
p2p isnt limited because you can do p2p online and they are less restricted compare to non p2p platforms .
it can be less hasle than a non p2p if you both trust each other but it can be hassel when not because you will feel the need of an escrow .

Selling goods or any related to physical products might be risky to both seller and buyer, it could be the buyers are fraud or it could the sellers that there's no real item to be delivered.  So, it really hard for a newbie to start a business here just like selling goods, unlike, if your account here is fully established and valuable members, it could be. 

Regarding the escrow, I don't know how it will work.  I think it's a little bit of hassle holding both transactions the physical product and the payment, unlike if the is a digital product that easy to transfer.  I prefer to buy in the official and trusted store for any physical product that you want to purchase online IMO.

Best option can be third party who is 100% trustable.

For example, if you buy tablet you send crypto to third party and when you recive tablet third pary send crypto to seller.
Ofcourse third party always take some litlle commision.

Also you can see the list of trusted escrow so better go on the list and avoid picking other users who's credibility/trust are not yet tested.

That should be nice but unfortunately we cannot trust so much the people which currently we are talking about certain transaction since we don't know how trustable they are so for funds security and to avoid scam better to bring up some good escrow upon dealing someone to make sure that the deal will became safe and the funds are secured.

Dealing with random people whom you don't know is quite risky and you're right.  But it's different here in the forum, we have a trusted Bitcointalk escrow service that can act as a third party for both buyer and also the seller that makes transaction smooth and safe.

But of course, they will support the trades between the buyer and seller if it is legal in your country, if it is illegal in your country, the same as well here also it is illegal.  Making a physical or any digital transaction online must use escrow service, much better to pay a little for them than to say sorry if you were scammed.

Even on those traditional markets excluding on this crypto market then scams had already been existing since from the start.As long there's money involved and those people who do have criminal type of thinking
then scams do really exist no matter what and we cant really get rid of those.Therefore the best thing to do is to set out those transactions which would really be safe on your part, Escrow, collateral or something
that you can have some assurance specially on buying and selling on this forum.You cant just trust anybody even on how you do know such person online but not on real life.You cant just trust up like that.

You need to be careful when making the transaction with anyone of them because the forum does not provide any escrow services but you can find many good escrow service providers here

It's risky to buy online in these day because a lot of scammer. And scammer now is getting smarter, so we should be wise and smart enough before purchasing something online. I'm fearful to buy online before. I always concluded what if I got scam. I remember the first time I buy something online I asked the buyer if we can meet personally. She handed me personally the thing I bought and I also pay her personally. Actually it's a win win situation but I realized I spend more compared if I let her sent it to me via parcel plus time it's consuming. Before buying online make sure the shop or seller is legit, there is a lot of platform where you can check the reviews of the seller or shop, you can ask also for actual photo and review her old transactions. This is our world now, we can or sometimes need to do everything through online. We just need to be smart when shopping and for sure you all be good.

It is certain that we have an escrow on any transaction that is to be made on crypto. To be on a safe side is why an escrow is needed cause trust issues are things that can't be over or under emphasize and on this forum, it is okay to make a transaction with a high reputable member of the forum, for whomever will be carrying out this transaction will want to keep his reputation and make things smooth, otherwise, to me, it is more preferred to hire an escrow on any transaction, whether on this forum or any other place concerning any crypto transaction.
