The article in the opening post proved that Binance exchange has an excellent security team, successfully followed transactions made
by scammers. And managed to return the funds to the address of the victim. Everything the Binance exchange has done makes Binance's
reputation even better, and most importantly Binance is indeed a trusted exchange to use.

What more can I say, they have the resources they need to fight this kind of fraudulent act. Definitely, they have dedicated personnel to address these delicate situations. Another plus points for Binance here. This is the reason why they are trusted by so many traders.

They needed to make sure about it, they already have an established business so keeping that image is very important for them knowing that every

hackers and scammers will try everything to bridge their securities, good thing that they've able to send it back and to the victims making sure that

The team is having more power than the rest of the people in the cryptocurrency space and i really do not like the way in which they are controlling everything but getting the investors their lost funds is a commendable job and we have seen many scams in this space that we literally do not trust anyone.

the author of the Coindesk article in the OP said that they haven't gotten a reply from the exchange about what they're going to do next. But given how compliant the scammer was to return all the stolen funds the moment he was asked to, who knows, maybe they won't be as harsh as they initially wanted to in court

either way, good work from Binance, recovered all the stolen funds + this will give them some free publicity...thing is that some crypto newcomers might feel a false sense of safety by leaving their coins on the exchange rather than in their own wallets after reading this news, they'd be like "well, if something happens to my coins, they'll recover it asap", hmmm 🤔

Definitely, another publicity and not just only a publicity but with remarks of good publicity. You have a point that they couldn't be harsh to him as they recovered and the person returned the stolen funds.

But with his act, maybe Binance will do something else or they wouldn't bother anymore because they got the funds. The most important thing is that they have the funds again.

Somehow it keeps up the trust of people on every incident. Though these incidents cause a negativity, the recovery and refunding to the users make its reputation grow high than going low. Being the top cryptocurrency exchange platform isn't a simple thing. Recently during a hack the lost funds on Binance were settled to the users from its own reserve which won't be done by other exchange services.
