It`s still not ETH 2.0, but this genesis contract proves, that ETH 2.0 full launch is very close and soon we could check what ethereum team have been working on for a such long time. Hope there will be really historical event in cryptocurrency calendar. I will buy some eth, because I beleive, that this news can be a start for Ethereum price bull run.

We’ll see this one after the update and it looks like Eth 2.0 is still on its first phase, more to go. We still have time to speculate ETH and I hope they can cover the problem of having a huge fees aside from the staking update. After the disappointment on many delays, ETH update is very timely as we need to pump the market up, I also believe that altcoin season is coming, ETH will push it through.

Obviously ethereum 2.0 is ridiculous to expect.He's already they're in Phase 0.
A lot of layer 2 projects have emerged for speed and transfer fees.
I don't understand why ethereum applications are waiting for an update to ethereum instead of choosing these methods.

I think ethereum 2.0 is not yet officially launched and it still requires some process which in my opinion is still quite long because the main website states that this project will be launched on December 1, 2020, so it looks like it will be soon but I believe it can have a good impact on ethereum price movements at the exchange.

it is not that they need some process to be done, they need more than 16384 validators, with 32ETH each, to put the network in the work, you can follow the process on Etherscan, at people are stacking, but the pace so far does not prove that they will have 524k ETH needed for start seven days before planned start on Dec,1

I think it is not yet eth 2.0 it is just that they have opened the deposits and untill the launch of the mainnet we cannot say that eth 2.0 has launched.
As far as minimum eth and validators requirement is concerned i think it will be achieved quickly in few days and market can go really crazy.

This is correction, Ethereum 2.0 is not launched yet, if people are still using the legacy chain for transaction of what use the is the beacon chain. The beacon chain that is launched is just to allow people to have skin in the game, stake and have reward for staking

What do you think about Eth2?

I think that once the Eth2 launch is done, there will be new hope for Ethereum holders. Because Ether and Eth2 are two things that cannot be separated. And this is Vitalik's new project which is certainly more successful than the previous project, because the level of public trust in Ethereum is very high.

I doubt they will be able to do anything before the end of the year

It's been long time that ETH keep announcing details about ETH 2.0 but never been known when will be the exact date, it is nice that it's already doing some improvements and Started to do step in making it possible but now is for BTC again since the price keeps increasing due to adoption PayPal brought and once it done and have shown bigger price increase, with these ETH 2.0 news, altcoins may about to follow the trend, hopefully the released will happen faster as it's very needed by eth now better transaction service.

ETH created this new world inside the crypto world that we can't deny and this is the next step for the logical improvement of ETH as well, we are literally using every single byte of ethereum right now and it keeps giving us even more. With all the daps, defis, dex and many other things that people use ETH like crazy for, we are really looking for a lot bigger price in ETH in the future and a lot more using ETH then using bitcoin as well (still invest more into bitcoin, just "use" it less).

So, I do not think it will take "that" long. It will definitely be something like another 6-8 months to see another improvement but in the crypto world waiting a year for such a huge improvement would be totally understandable and expected, nobody could say a blockchain could be improved over night.

524,288 ETH and 16,384 validators to launch the mainnet. We are still far from here, but it's ok. This kind of feature of Ethereum really takes time, I understand how complex and complicated Ethereum 2.0 is, we are still a lot of time to fill our bags, lol.

How long have to wait for their final launch? Maybe I have to give up waiting for that moment to come.
They are planning to launch it last year but it moves again and again. Seeing those requirements, I'd likely to tell myself not to expect that than better to surprise.
Anyway, that was helping either Bitcoin to build an uptrend motion. ETH just gave it up and the rest of the altcoins which gives away for Bitcoin to continuously moving high and high. I hope just altcoins can still recover and be on the bullish again.

What do you think about Eth2?

I have also read this from Vitalik's personal twitter page. Now Ethereum 2.0 is going to launch which first step is Smart Contract Address released. It was under testing but from now it is under main net launch. The Genesis block will start from 1606824000 for Ethereum 2.0 which will be launched on 1st December or within 7 days after After December 1st December. Really it will open a new dimension for Ethereum network and also for Ehereum holders.
