I will strongly advise you, if you must try it. Do it caution, because any slightly mistake can cause you alot. Imagine trading your alt into BTC and the price of your alt rises and BTC came down. You can't buy back your Alt, because the volume will be reduced and also due to the rise of the price. By that time, you would have lost some amount of your money that you invested in the Exchange. Let us all be very careful while making that kind of trade.  I think it make more sense when you trade BTC to dollars or ETH. Those are the kind of trade I embark on these days.

If they do not trade altcoins they will never know how to earn in cryptocurrency. Aside from that, doing trade anywhere whether in crypto or in traditional stocks exchange both of them has a high risk involved. Besides, it doesn't matter for me if it is altcoins just for what matter most to me is that as long as it gives me a nice profit I will never stop doing trade anyway.

Keep trading with altcoin during have touch support price but never try to entry when altcoin have touch on higher price because could make you loss, I know every one will trade when bitcoin raise up because altcoin allow how bitcoin price. Your suggestion is good but it works only when BTC is either Bullish or Bearish and BTC Dominance Index is higher ( more than 70%) but When BTC is stable and BTC Dominance Index is around 60% then it is good opportunity to entry in alts  (Top 20 on coinmarektcap except XRP) and sometimes traders book huge profit during alts Rally. During the rally alts also show good performance not only against stable coins but also against BTC

Even if the alts are dumping it is better to risk when Bitcoin is climbing because for sure ATH is more to come .

actually, it depends on our belief in the market.

It all depends on what you believe in the future of the projects, trading anything you want with anything you want is still alright as long as you think the project you invest into will go up. BNB was just 40 bucks 2 months ago and it has peaked at 340 dollars, did bitcoin increase like that during the last 2 months? Of course not, from last march to this march it has increased from 4k levels to max 60k levels recently and that was one year, if you invested that it would be great but if you wanted the last 2 months BNB was better.

So, that means when you get in and what you get in matters, sometimes bitcoin goes up more and sometimes other coins go up more, recently chilliz went up like 5x in a week, you think bitcoin was better during that period? It was 5x in a week, nothing can top that easily unless it is a pump. Which is why bitcoin or altcoin, it all depends on what it does.
