Though I am a newbie here. Based on my experience I earned bitcoin through typing captcha I used my bitcoin wallet to receive, purchasing, and and trade my earnings from Captcha. There a lot of ways where you can earn bitcoins and its really useful if you really love bitcoin currency. And I found this site that could make bitcoin more useful to me where I can earn by spending my time and sharing thoughts and to get more idea and knowledge on how the bitcoin really works.

This guy is asking here about how bitcoin works. And also other places he is suggesting others how to use bitcoin. btw it's not a problem though. I think if you really want to know how actually bitcoin works, I think youtube can give you a valuable answer which will easy to understand that reading any article online.

What attract my attention here is that we are in the greatest forum for bitcoin and there seems to be no dedicated topic to explain for newbies what is bitcoin and how it works. Even the thread you mentioned is just a presentation of other ressources outside the forum. Yes i agree that there are plenty topics/courses in the internet about this but don't you think we need a topic here dedicated for newbies ?

You seem to be right but I guess the reason for this is that it's a huge and demanding task that requires a lot of time and effort.
Do you want to volunteer for that task? 
Any way, it would be really good to add such a topic to the top of this section.

I tought I had explained quite well my point of view:

I often find myself in the difficult situation of answering this question:
"I heard about this Bitcoin thing, how can I buy it?"

Well, I don't like taking unnecessary risks, and buying bitcoin without knowing anything about it is, like every other "investment without knowledge" a golden path to losing your money.

So I want my mom/average Joe to have a basic understanding of what bitcoin is, before even thinking about buying some.
The problem that explaining Bitcoin is difficult; bitcoin is at the crossroad of cryptography, Economic and Monetary Theory, Game Theory, Computer Networking and data transmission.  Having a knowledge on one of this fields not only is difficult, but also bias you explanation, and this might screw up the process.(if I know more about Cryptography, I would weight more this aspect, but It's not a guarantee this is the one would trigger my counterpart).
