2020... Altseason?

2020 market situation resembles me a bit 2017. If you look back and compare altcoins and Bitcoin graphs of that year you will see the similarity. I am afraid of another thing here. New crypto winter can come to the market again. We need to be very attentive when trading/holding/investing.

When viewed from the chart and market conditions are very precise in 2017,
especially in this year the price of Bitcoin also experienced a sharp decline in March,
just like in 2017 the price of Bitcoin experienced a sharp decline in July, before Bitcoin pumped again,
and you can see its history through the Bitcoin chart, maybe 2020 Bitcoin can touch $20k, and altcoin season in 2021.

I thought the big DeFi pump from a few months ago was altseason. That's what a lot of people were saying because Bitcoin was not performing as well as these altcoins and ETH was leading the rally. Now the momentum has shifted in favor of Bitcoin and altcoins are lagging behind. These are normal market cycles. The ETH 2.0 hype could boost altcoins again. Alts usually depend on hype to perform well otherwise they fall further when BTC drops and rise slower when BTC is pumping.

Bitcoin is the base of all the bubble. Now the price of many altcoin had started to increase parallel to the bitcoin. Actually the bitcoin price had influence the price of altcoin many times.The altcoin is the trading partner for the people with less investment. Once they analysis in good manner, surely they will gain huge profit.

bitcoin and altcoin could not separated, its influenced each other . bitcoin as major coin could direct altcoin movement even that pump or dump. altcoin often recognized as alternative investment in cryptocurrency market, and for sure its price also depend on market sigth to bitcoin, if its okay to buy bitcoin and it will be okay to buy altcoin.

You should wait for the Bitcoin price to reach ATH again before expecting an alt season,same pattern like what last 2018 has when
after the highly recorded Bitcoin price of $20,000 then the altcoins specially Ethereum starts the run

Looks like a good chance the 2020 alt-season came and went over summer/autumn and now will make see further downside in winter. 2021 alt-season looks more promising now, once Bitcoin reaches a new all time high imo, unless altcoins can outpace Bitcoin in the coming weeks from some BTC consolidation of price. That's the changing point, once bitcoin reaches a new ATH, then the confidence of the investors will flow in the market and they would be able to invest on altcoins as well, I'm looking at the price now and we are so close to an ATH, one big run and we will be there and we don't know what would happen next after the ATH is hit, probably like the last bull run, a crazy FOMO is gonna happen.

Profits from Bitcoin will tend to flow back to altcoins as the market used to. I see altcoins gradually increasing in value over time but still early as Bitcoin is in the process of making progress towards the old ATH. When Bitcoin goes past $ 20,000, we will have a chance to see how the market grows. One thing is for sure that in 2020 trash projects will not have a chance of skyrocketing because investors have gotten wiser, so do whales. Only cryptocurrencies with clear content can actually gain at price.

It is going over a thousand ethereum a day and it will definitely reach to that 524k number one day or another, it is waaaaaay too big and I don't know why the specific reason for having that big of a number, why couldn't they do 52k instead of 524k but at the end of the day there must be some technological reason behind it to make it reality, hopefully it will happen before 2021 so that we can start the new year with that.

When that happens it will move people to ETH a lot more, because having eth 2.0 will make people stake and get involved, when they get involved with ETH that much they will be easier to move to other coins and erc20 tokens as well which will make altcoin season start once again. I know we have been decent recently but with 2.0 we will be x2 more than this.

Maybe 2021 is the alt seasons, right now the btc dominance is really strong wherein the 24 hr volume reached $30 trillion. Imagine that kind of money wherein a lot of people are really participating in that kind of trend, most of the altcoins are still not moving so my expectation is they will make a move in the 1st quarter of the year 2021. I hope that there will be a good news and good movement when the January 2021 finally come. For sure there will be many altcoins that will have triple digit gains if the alt season will finally come.

All hopes about altcoin season this year are far gone. This year has already come to an end. Altcoin season will happen next year and it will be less bullish compared to the 2017 bull run.

It really is. We can even safely assume that the majority of cryptocurrency users are left more experienced and sensible, who learn from other people's mistakes. Moreover, those who failed in 2018 due to unprofitable investments left the market long ago. That is why people are more judicious in their decision-making during this period. Perhaps even because of this, it can be assumed that the 2020 market is more stable.

Altcoins and bitcoins are somehow connected but not parallel to each other in their movements all the time. Bitcoin could go up while alts go down, alts could go up while bitcoin goes down, bitcoin could go up while alts go up, bitcoin could go down while alts go down too. Anything could happen.

If you want to see an alt season I suggest you do not look at bitcoin because that will not give you any indicator, it will only help you with whatever you imagine bitcoin will be doing but it will not be doing anything for alts since it is unpredictable how alts will react towards bitcoin movement. However if there is something major, like recent eth 2.0 news or even the defi hype we had, anything remotely similar to that again which could make people people be interested in it, alt season could come again.

not too fast mate, as you can see a lot of good news coming to crypto right ?
and the impact will increase the demands my friend, then when the demands grow, this will push the price up
also i don't see any potential bubble situations, this is pure movements because a huge demands coming to crypto space

If the general sentiment of the altcoins will be good in the end of the 2020 then maybe next year we can see a lot of altcoins that are making strong price surges. My expectation are really to see that most of the altcoins especially the potential ones to have healthy uptrend. The good thing is a lot of potential altcoins are managed to do a successful reversal in this past weeks so for sure they will have a strong trend in next year.
