Hi guys,

Maybe we can have a discussion on Altcoins with potential based on their fundamentals and usecases? In other words, shill me your altcoin and explain why it will gain investor interest.

Let's discuss!
There are many undervalued crypto projects in crypto space, you should do your own research and stop asking people for answers, go on coinmarketcap and start doing your research from #50 to 200 rank on coinmarketcap, I knew few projects and I choose them for my one reasons

1. Apollo Currency
2. Veil Project
3. Wabi
4. Haven Protocol

If asking 500 altcoins with actual usecases i think you cam find there at coinmarket or in exchangers like binance exchanger I know there are many altcoins that have potential and can be used in the future but who knows if the community is big and has a strong project is eth 2.0 and it can be said that many participated in its stake event and it is expected that many more investors will participate in it.

I suggest looking into the winners of the last bull run: things like XRP, ADA, VET, XMR, BNB. Some smaller coins like SYS , SIA, or BAT are also interesting, they started out with good tech and ideas and are still around.

Potential usecases and % completion VS price.
Only Bitbay stands out to me enough to consider risking additional btc.
I believe it was in the top 6 largest winners in the last bull run and has advanced immensely since then technically. I hear they are also planning and designing an in house decentralised multi sig exchange to cut dependency on exchanges.  I note they have been crushed by exchange horrors beyond their control.
It was the first smart conducted.   I like sys coin but I prefer Bitbay. I have both of these.
I am still trying to find someone skilled to explain blacknet since that is apparently a very novel design by the dev who invented pos3 which many projects used for years and still do.

This is the most complete answer in the entire thread. I think it is time for crypto to really start changing the world and projects that can do this will make money. I think the big winners will be the platforms, ETH2.0 is gonna be hard to take down but there are some alternatives like Graphene by Phore, this project has already provided ETH2.0 with some of the code they will be using and with the blockchain built entirely from scratch it will be made with all the key features necessary in mind.

Swissborg chsb is really a cool project to follow, they are launching small yield service soon that will yield more than the average market returns for its depositors, the premium members will make even more. So I think it is good entry point now as the token is expected to really fly in future.

Rather than the top list of altcoins it is hard to find real usecase based altcoins. Everything has been developed for a purpose, but how effective this has been getting used around isn't known. I find iota to be having real usecase. Most people mentioned the exchange backed altcoins. It is true, but those are effective within the trading platforms and beyond that it is very limited in usage.

One that comes to my mind is Deep Onion. It is a TOR-based anonymous coin, which first came online in 2017. Currently, it is down 99% from the ATH, but the community is still very active and the promoters are working really hard to remove bugs and other software issues. But for some unknown reason, the exchange rates have remained at very low levels, even during the current rally.

Yeah, DeepOnion really is a phenomenon. They have a huge community for their relatively low marketcap. I remember how there was a lot of hype around the coin in the 2017 bullrun. Wouldn't surprise me if this coin got pumped at some point, that is if we are going to see a altseason again.

Ah yeah.

I hope you aren't trying to take risks with coins under top 100 on coinmarketcap because of altcoin season? I know that in 2017 many coins under top 100 brings better profits than top rated coins but that was then, bullrun today isn't about hype but really use cases, same thing might not happen this time around

That's not entirely true, how many coins are you aware of that are not top 100 and are giving investors up to x10 of their investment, just because you don't know them don't mean they don't exist, people nowadays are just too trusting in top 100 coins that they forget to look below, remember that a top 100 coin position is not guaranteed because any coin with high market capitalization will just take the position among the top 100, it is not a yard stick to measure good fundamentals and use case.
