Altcoin with BTC pair is at the bottom

Look at it this way: People are selling altcoins for BTC because they're FOMOing the current pump. They are leaving altcoins at ATLow and entering BTC near ATHigh.

What do you think it's gonna happen? The answer is obvious, people entering near all time high on BTC will get crushed and then they will come back to altcoins after they are already on the move.

Don't panic sell at the bottom, the time to sell altcoins is long gone, if you're on the loss with altcoins, hold on to it because trying to time the market is super hard (Not financial advice)

Just because its cheap doesn't mean its a good time to buy. Back in 2014, the top 10 coins excluding BTC, ETH, LTC and XRP were Peercoin, NXT, Omni, Namecoin, Bitshares, Quark and Megacoin. Now how many of those still exist today? Exactly.

You can go and buy Tron, EOS, Stellar but keep in mind that there is a chance that they might never recover, especially against the BTC pair. So you will keep averaging down and down and pretty soon you will have a very heavy bag. If you are going to buy maybe wait until some type of green candle first. And just buy it on the way up, if it keeps going down then just get out. Use stops and you should be fine.

My choice of safe coins would be DOGE and BNB. Everything else looks too expensive now.

This is what should be a concern now, altcoins will provide a lot profits,
I am sure with this BTC pair which is still at an All time low Altcoin price will increase 200-500%,
and history will repeat itself like last year's altcoin season, if you are still hold, then don't sell.

pairings are nothing to do with how the alts move but pairings can differe depending on the exchange that you were using .

usd pairs are useful to secure stability but that was best to do when alts are already jumping  .

btc pairs wont be remove on every exchange because most of us do always have a btc available for trading but if i were to ask i will be stingy to hoard my btc now and use other pairs for a while because btc is still growing big .

Hi guys, I hope you are doing well in this pandemic time. Do you think it can be a good time to invest in some altcoin for hodl with the BTC pair instead of USDT pair?

I saw that most of the altcoins are now in the bottom with the BTC pair and my personal goal is to increase my BTC account instead of the USD one. My strategy is to wait that the BTC dominance reach 70% it will be blood on the ALT but very cheap price and then I want to invest in it with the BTC/pair.

For example these alt are now at :

Stellar : 460 sat
Tron : 143 sat
Eos : 14500 Sat

Do you think it can be a good strategy in order to prepare the Alt season IF she will come?

It maybe an unfortunate decision if choose to invest in some altcoin on exchange through the BTC pair if the altcoin were before BTC bullish market but invest in altcoin using BTC after the recent profit, it an awesome idea cause the altcoin will soon make some good pump in price soon and it good to set aside some stablecoins which will be used as capital in other to invest in the market whenever an opportunity arise.
With that been said, the coins you listed are centralized and highly manipulated coins which is not advisable to invest in, i will advise you to invest in coins like ETH, LTC, XMR, KMD, BNB, NRG, AR etc.

BTC halt on a massive 1000$ gain within a day and already stable at 18,000 to 19,000USD price range that's altcoins are starting to catch up now. All traders that converted in stable coin just to dodge the massive altcoin dump is now converting back again. Expect altcoin season come when the BTC price starts showing stability on the price then sooner, They will both pump at the same time.

Choosing alt is really quite difficult. So if you do want to diversify your portfolio and make sure that you are not investing on a shit coin, take a look at top alts with real purpose. I can give an example, XRP, they are now bullish and I can say, they have real use case being a good payment option by merchants and institutions. However, I am not giving piece of advice here, just giving an example that you may check into. As a serious investor, you have to do your own homework in assessing those alts to buy, and not relying from someone else's suggestion.

Its already time for altcoin in the market to regain their peak, series of altcoin on cmc is showing a pretty greenish figures and I'm sure op got opinion clear and at high profit now if he bought. XLM, ADA, XRP, and many reputable altcoin is performing well for the last four days, its really their time and investors getting back smaller altcoin to be in high profit since bitcoin is already high.

I am getting back to tell you that I've started to invest 0,5 BTC on the alts that I've mentioned on my post== +17% in day. Finally I've decided to DCA since now the rest of my BTC in the alts. As you said previously we don't know exactly when the ATH of the BTC will happen, so I prefer to keep the rest of my BTC (0,5) in case if the BTC pump and reach the ATH, in this case the alts will dump so I will take this opportunity to buy more.

The problem is that a lot of people are complaining of the ROI but they did not understand that they must invest when it's red blood in order to take a good profit. That's how the whales are doing... invest when everyone do not do it.

indeed, its time to pick an altcoins now, because look like the altseason is on its way
but remember to pick the right alts to invest, because few alts will die and called by shitcoins in current conditions just like in the past

If it is true that history will repeat itself like 2017/2018, then it is very likely that the altcoins season will come after Bitcoin hits the moon. That's an easy look and probably still makes sense because not even the altcoins died during the collapse of the market, maybe just a few who couldn't keep the project going either. But for a popular altcoins that can keep updating their project for the better, then buying at a lower price to prepare for the upcoming altcoin season is a good idea.

it's better to be enrty in the USDT pair,
because in the BTC pair it is very risky if the bitcoin price drops your rate will also go down,
but if the pair you are using is USDT then you will be safe from volatility.
