Why so strict on members

Is bitcointalk forum not about learning and sharing ideas anymore? My posts are removed and the posts are good enough, are admins going strict on members of the forum because of something else? Here is an example of a good post of mine but still removed and my account was ban for it, I know the difference between contributing posts and junk posts, what is going on?

Its rare to see account gets banned for spamming here so there could be another reason why your account got banned.When you are banned you are not allowed to discuss about anything other than your ban appeal.

That particular post on the screenshot is not enough to call it as spam until we see the thread from where it was deleted.

And this is your answer on the 6th page of that topic. What you did basically is just paraphrasing/reiterating what's being said already, without adding almost anything new really. This is an epitome of a shitpost and it was deleted for a good reason.

2. Limit your risks by investing only the money you can afford to lose
3. Stay away from low rated exchanges because they have fake volumes
4. Keep your recovery seed and private keys very safe and don't store in cloud storages
5. Just like OP said diversification works best in crypto space

There's 40 of your posts reported for spam/one liners so I'm guessing that's why. Put more effort into your posts upon your return and you should be good.

I was thinking this; The forum is far from strict on its spam policy and users rarely get banned for it even if there a sticky on this in the Services board (IIRC). Users who spam the forum are usually given series of temporary bans, ranging from a few days to a month, to serve as a warning, and if they persist, a perma ban is issued. OP probably had enough time to correct the habit.

Put more effort into your posts upon your return and you should be good.

I assume the OP was banned temporarily in this case then. Hopefully, they heed the warning and change their habit. Effort is really all it takes to avoid such situations, some members do the barest minimum and usually join discussions only to meet their sig requirement.

I have been a member of this forum for a long time and so far there has been no case of someone getting banned for a quality and constructive post.
I suggest you focus on the quality of your posts and consider whether you have any knowledge or experience that you can share with other members here.
Writing just to write or meet a quota for a signature campaign is not a good way to go.

The last post from that account TanakabZX was on Nov 09. So maybe he got temporary ban but when he will resume he should be careful because repeating the same mistake could make his account permanent ban too.

It isn't, but that's what motivates the majority of members here and it's not going to change until sig campaigns/bounties are eliminated, and last I heard Theymos has no intention of doing away with them.

He's must be temp. banned as hilariousandco said to put more efforts upon return. Secondly, even if he was permanent banned, he is allowed to make another account and ask anything related to his ban in meta, he did exactly that here.

I was also going to comment same way The Pharmacist did, but considering his only post had been in Meta, and was slightly related to the ban... Depends on the flexibility we want to give him.

It's funny how many times we saw the similar scenario. Shitposter/bounty abuser comes complaining about "unfairly deleted posts" or negative tag and then someone digs few of their alts, a little bit of plagiarism and occasional ban evading. Every time they open their mouth they dig their hole a little bit deeper.

They are truly their own worst enemies. Or to put it in trading terms, they should learn to cut their losses.

I've been lurking this forum since ~2012, made an account once but never actually used it, now I've made a new one (this one) because I've started my website (working on papers to have it officially registered) and wanted to implement btc into my website as a mean of payment.

Now that you know that I'm not a newbie, I'll tell you about your post. I'd consider that post useless because the beginner section is nothing else but an echo chamber. Same questions and same answers that could have been given with the simple google search. Based on your post, I'd say that the whole topic was pointless and was overflown with spam, one line answers and those same answers I've been reading for the past 8 years.

Shitposting in newbie section won't get you anything.

Op's account got nuked and that is the reason why zero post and zero activity. But when the account got nuked all their posts are supposed to be trashed right? Or their post still remains same as how the case of plagiarist account like their account only will be banned but their post still remains?

So, this newly account created is being nuked and that is why OP can't respond now. We do not know the reason for this but I guess admin has a good reason for doing this. Of course no one will going to allow any user to make activities that disrespected the forum. Well, they are doing their job and that is we should remember that if you ever put your shoe in their shoe having 2.8M registered users and only few of them are managing the forum section would be a huge task to be done. Even the moderators itself here have expressed that they had a load of work to moderate every shit posts being done by the users in the forum.

OP is not nuked. Nuked members get their posts deleted. justicebao still has this post, and you can find it from his profile. His original account - TanakabZX (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2650466) is also not nuked. You can see that his signature is still there. When members get banned, their signatures are removed.

Maybe it's just a caching issue or a bug that caused his post count not to have gone up to 1.

From my observation if there is such kind of mis count in the post and activity which will get resolved in next few hours but here the thing remain same for almost a day I guess. Some kind if exception or new bug?
