My story in gambling.
In the beginning I was involved in gambling, at first it was just for entertainment, gradually became addicted, but I was still able to control myself, sometimes I win and lose, so far I have experienced something about myself "gambling money is hot". It's very easy I waste money from gambling, I don't count what i see i buy and my friends buy as much as i want, but i never give money from gambling to my family, i worry, I don't know why, maybe I think that gambling money should not be confused with my family, let them eat it from their own dryness or hard work, that's my story in brief.

This always happen to me. When I win I transfer half or a portion to my personal wallet and continue playing with my remaining balance and when I lose it I will deposit the one that I deposit to my personal wallet and lose it then deposit again. In short I always lose in the end, maybe I'm not really good in handling losses at all. What I feel about it is that there's an urge of me that "I think I'm gonna win this time". I'm not sure if it's just me or other gamblers also experience this.

I don't win a lot of money, never in my life yet, my winnings are just a small amount that I could just spend easily when I go out with friends. I sometimes got serious in gambling but I still fail, I realized that winning is really hard, so I did not increase my exposure in gambling.

I am using the money that I received from winning in gambling for these things:
1. I am using it for my capital in trading.
2. I save it and sometimes if put it in some of my investment.
3. Use it again as my capital in gambling.

My gambling story is quite alright. I've lost about $30 in a small set of stupid bets over a short period of time once, and it was sad for me, but it wasn't a huge deal. Then I won small sums over some time, and I believe I've now compensated that $30 loss. I don't really think about the money I spend on gambling as the money to win or to lose. It's money to be entertained, to experiment and to feel some emotions. So I'm well-prepared to lose it, but I'm also cheered up when I win. I think it's a healthy relationship with gambling because it involves fund management and doesn't lead to addiction.

I remember back when I won $1k, I just continue to play the next day and didn't think about giving the money to my family. But there was a time that I won consecutively, like 3 days and I just gadgets for my kids, camera's, iPad's, iPhones. So it's not money per se, but what they like or want during that time. So it's not a motivation for me to win money for my family. Of course we need to be positive when gambling, and not thinking of losing.

I have had a similar experience. It all started with fun and one unfortunate day, i kept on losing, I got so frustrated that I took on every balance on any account I had and kept on gambling recklessly. I was hoping to get back what I lost but I ended up losing 4K USD worth of coins that day. It was a couple of years ago and at that moment the sum was huge for me. I cried for days. Unable to believe what I've done, I went to anxiety, it destroyed my sleeping cycle and started having nightmares.
After I got together spending several days with my friends and family, I decided to never gamble again. But that promise was soon broken but I have strictly followed a budget and site based gambling habit which I've successfully followed till date. Sometimes there were urges to broke my limit. Well, if that would happen to me that I win a big amount, I might fulfill my dreams like making my life financially free by investing in businesses in real life as I am a business which is aiming for a bigger capital to expand my business, however, I would not consider investing big in gambling to win big, I am more into lower amount risk with bigger winning if lucky, just like a lottery.

Well, I have a hate-love relationship with betting or gambling activities.

I consider myself lucky, because once I was so addicted that I almost emptied my months of savings but just before I could, I stopped.

I have had fair deal of humiliation when I borrowed money from friends and families and failed to return them in time. I am not going to lie, I still have some problems like that. It gave me a sad time before when I keep on losing in Dice. Of course, I did it in Yolodice.
I never thought it would come to that point that I would lose since I had a good start.
Didn't even told my wife about it. The only good part about it was it's my secret stash. (Just in case the budget goes south.)
After that, I learned my lesson.
I still gamble but not going too far into losing everything.

Some situations are even worse. From winning huge amount, they end up with nothing because of greed. That's also included on the risk of gambling, it is not only the game of luck which is the gambler's enemy but also greed and frustration because it might yield to addiction if things will not be reprimanded. In such case, gamblers should have limits of losses and limits of winnings in order to be in full control of this game. Losing is more certain and the gambler's task is to somewhat not lose that much. I've been in such situation before, good thing my friends guided me to the right way of being in this activity.

If you are still able to control yourself that means you are not yet addicted. Addiction is much worse than that. If you are too drawn to it that you cannot anymore control that urge to gamble, that is addiction. But if you just find gambling fun and that you want to do it because you enjoy it that does not mean addiction.

There are many people who don't feed their family with gambling money. That's their belief. I don't share with that belief. If you won it fair and square there is no reason for you to worry about it. But I never think too much about that because I don't search for the winning. Gambling can be one of sources of income, it is so sad that there are many people who judging a certain person just because he is a gambler. I don't know what happen with our dream because each dreaming have unique code for gambler to know what number have to choose. That's good because you are having priorities unlike other gamblers who spending all of their winnings then they will regret it later after they lose it. I have a trait of a gambler who are always focusing in managing risks because I know that gambling is not just being skillful or being lucky and for me it is not enough because what we need is to know how to handle different risks. Handling our psychology is also important wherein we should not be greedy especially when we are having consecutively winnings because there are times that it lead us to become greedy and lose all of our recent gains where the profit goes waste just because of greed and not managing the risk very well.

Same as with the others I often lose than winning probably it's the reality that most gamblers are afraid to accept because we keep on gambling with the hopes to win every time we play.  Sadly, some gamblers tend to say that they do gambling for entertainment but the reality behind that statement is their hopes of winning made them in denial of their perception towards gambling.

This is a very advice in my opinion. We shouldn't only gamble for the sake of winning, it's better to get some happiness out of things we can buy with our winnings. Because if only value money and making more, a loss will hit us pretty hard. So if he have things we will keep even if we lose, it's pretty good.

To be honest I do think of gambling as entertainment, but I also hope to get a big win. Like most people I also lose

This is why we must have control,Winning is indeed happening sometimes but the problem is if after the win we will stay playing and then will end up losing everything.

Try to have a gambling management in which the limit of win or lose is there so at any time we can still play in certain amount and we could leave in certain losses.

My gambling experience in the past of aiming to win the game but it so happen more loses than win. When I experience of winning I cannot control the eagerness to bet again until such time I lose all my funds. The feeling of chasing loses which is not a good move in betting the game. Even today I tried my luck to make a win out of my previous campaign earning. I had around 450 XRP, and I wasn't able to win. I lost all the XRP, and the mind thought of recovering the loss. I know gambling is not your style and never give your earning gambling to family, I make give away on gambling facebook group and give for them profit with gambling, I think gambling earning is not good if using to our family and exactly will get bad impact to our children later if give from gambling. maybe gambling its only for funny and give later earning to our friend and make gambling again, or if get earning use to bet with higher amount and the last bad result with lost, just worry if use gambling earning to family needed we can't get good result with our family and how to get good children if use gambling earning to them.

Yeah, being a sports bettor myself too, I actually withdraw my won amount and convert in into fiat because I buy crypto with fiat and I try to maintain a balance between how much I am buying BTC and how much I am selling since my salary paycheck are not huge and I have to ensure I am not just buying too much crypto and gambling away all of it.

Lucky for me that when I started gambling, I know how to control myself already and I know my limitations into how much do I need to spend whenever I gamble. I know already that whenever I put money on the site, that money will never come back to me again as if my mind was saying that you will lose all of it in the end . Same experience here. I came also into gambling learning from the people ahead of me losing a lot of money due to excessive gambling or being greedy. Others had been into depth debts where they need to sell their assets like car, motorcycle and even properties like lot inherited from their parents. Despite huge money they get from their salary after all being addicted to gambling status still remain into where they need to work hard or earn hard for a living. If only those money where being bet smartly not taking risk in the hopes of high returns then I guess they could have much now more than what they had. My story in gambling.
In the beginning I was involved in gambling, at first it was just for entertainment, gradually became addicted, but I was still able to control myself, sometimes I win and lose, so far I have experienced something about myself "gambling money is hot". It's very easy I waste money from gambling, I don't count what i see i buy and my friends buy as much as i want, but i never give money from gambling to my family, i worry, I don't know why, maybe I think that gambling money should not be confused with my family, let them eat it from their own dryness or hard work, that's my story in brief.

however, I got money from betting site affiliation which is huge for me. Maybe marketing is my stronger point rather than gambling.
I've collected more than $10K from doing nothing in gambling in 2012-2013.
I am glad that I am not addicted to gambling. I still can manage myself from gambling.
So, I spent that money to buy gadgets, a motorcycle, etc. I gave some to my parents too, because I think it's not money from my gambling activity, but I got it by promoting a website. So, I think it's fine

I don't know why people are being so "weird" about gambling money. What's wrong with that? You bet money for fun, you win and you get your reward. I first got into gambling because of curiosity and interest.
I started gambling below legal age, and I regret that when I was like 15-16 I learn how to gamble in sports games specially basketball and esports games, I can say that I'm pretty much addicted back in those days. Spending all my allowance on gambling thankfully I hit my changing point when I learn how to invest money instead of just straight up gambling it. Now I just gamble some small amount and just some extra money that I have I don't risk my money that is reserved for trading and investments anymore.

Most of the time I just straight out cashing out my entire funds from a specific site that I won and just deposit all the money from my gambling win to my trading account. If I have won big amount I split the profit for trading and more gambling for different site, but if I only win a decent amount I just full on deposit it on my trading account.

Not all of the gamblers are like you. Most of them are people who took gambling as a living that makes them even poorer, instead of them making a living, it is the gambling site that makes a living to them. The mistake of the people who are addicted in gambling is that they insisted to gamble their remaining funds on their wallet since they could have fun while playing and earning, until the situation screwed them up.

That's why the more they lose, they more they become committed to gambling because they need to take it all back whatever happens or else they are gonna starve to death.

I know how it hard to control yourself when it comes to gambling. I know it because i've witnessed how my mom used to quit on this game. Well she used to play a real poker game, money involved, time consuming sometimes their game last up to dawn. It would be great if we could win a lot of money from gambling because some of that can be used to buy cool stuff or for something fun. Meanwhile, the rest can still be used for gambling again. For me, gambling is just for fun and I was aware of the possibility that I was betting on a loss, so I don't want to waste that much money on it, and I will stop gambling when the loss limit has been reached.

I have a different perspective on it. but, I agree that the money from gambling affiliation gathered from the gambling activities.
I made a review and explanation about gambling sites, so I didn't gamble at that point.

Greed is the main reason why those people always end up losing after a major win and you can't really tell if you can stop playing when you are at their position because some atmosphere will push you to play even more after you win a lot. I think the mindset of gamblers has changed a lot because of that, they rarely get some decent income from gambling all they get is lost every time they play more.

It's normal for us to be greedy sometimes especially when we won on gambling since we are feeling lucky but luck does stay for so long. wining and then loosing it again feels that you didnt win at all . winning small amount but withdrawing and spending it succesfuly in valueable items is more worth it than winning big amount but the money will not be withdrawn or itl be withdrawn but itl be deposited again few moments later .

in my case I increase my bankroll and another part I use to buy my things from the real world. But I am thinking of starting to take the profits to put in other investments to increase my profits, I consider this a good way to diversify investments (although in the case of games of chance they are not considered investments). My gambling story is pretty same as yours. I have started gambling for fun purpose. I don't have any intention to make profit. But gradually it become my habit while I started to gamble regularly. Finally I got addicted and lost little bigger amount. After that I took a break from gambling. And nowadays I don't play with large bankroll. Still I have a bad habit, I can't accept the losses, always try to recover back but slowly slowly I go down more. Though I don't cross my loss limit now.

This always happen to me. When I win I transfer half or a portion to my personal wallet and continue playing with my remaining balance and when I lose it I will deposit the one that I deposit to my personal wallet and lose it then deposit again. In short I always lose in the end, maybe I'm not really good in handling losses at all. What I feel about it is that there's an urge of me that "I think I'm gonna win this time". I'm not sure if it's just me or other gamblers also experience this.

I also take profits whenever im winning my bets, and take breaks because i know that it might be a loss streak after. After all be wary when your in a winstreak and having consecutive high win profits sometimes its only a bait to go all in. In the end the House always wins and gets the profit from your addiction, so better control your emotions and learn to set limits.

prison is only a temporary place to stop gambling. heavy gamblers and gambling addicts will definitely continue their habit of gambling when they get out of prison if they repent. if the gambler wants to stop gambling the intention is within themselves.
