all players start off with an empty inventory, there are boxes with random items all over the map, the players start standing in the starting location, once the round starts they have a 30 second grace period in which they can run to the beginning box and grab all the supplies they can before heading off into the map, players can team up but there is only 1 winner. sponsors can buy items to help thier players win, the value of the items range from 0.01 $ to 3$

See, I didn't even realize there were pvp-based minecraft games I always thought it was all co-op stuff. Do people just try to build good weapons and armor real fast? Do they even both mining or building structures? How long do the games last?
Also, if you are running this as a sponsored game, why not recruit people from the minecraft world? I'm sure there are a ton of skilled minecrafters (?) willing to play, and you'll be able to get some new people into bitcoin.
