I don't think bitcoin is losing its original purpose. It just so happened that bitcoin evolved and upgraded its features leading to more purposes than it is originally intended to be used for. And I think it's great because it now used not only as a mode of payment transaction, but to be an investment of many people. In addition, bitcoin became a source of income to most of us since there's this thing called campaign where we make money by posting depending on the required count of post by the campaign manager.

For me, it's better this way because we are utilizing the existence of bitcoin and its purpose on our own benefit and at the same time for the growth of our community. It's kind of a win-win situation now that it has a lot of features compared before because the more purpose something has, the more it will be patronized and used by many. This will lead to bitcoin being globally known and the cryptocurrency world will eventually grow bigger and bigger. Chain reaction will happen. The next impact it may have is the continuous increase of price value of btc in the market.

Most of us in this forum have been using Bitcoin as a medium of exchange, we pay something using BTC, we receive wages from signature campaigns in BTC.
