Discussion thread continued from project announcement...

Club Crypto (Website in development)

I'm still working out the exact prices so I can compensate fairly while staying within budget of the kinds of tasks that will be done.  Payment will be on a logarithmic scale based on subject/task experience.

It's not possible to pay an hourly rate without verification that is expensive, high bandwidth and unpopular.   When you wish to work, you'll put in a "bid" for so many tasks an hour.  When the system queue determines it can support you, you will go online.  You can take limited breaks but you must respond to tasks within a few seconds.  The simplest tasks should take just a moment - depending on your input, processing and output speed.  Tasks that require any other skills other than basic ones will be paid more.

Of course we reserve the right to add new verification methods that pay more, or are required by partners (i.e. test takers).  No member will lose money or available services for new verification requirements.

We are planning to release a unique NFCT based on historical attributes to use in our first crypto gaming tournament.  This game genre has hundreds of thousands of potential new bitcoin users!  The profits from this game will be used to "buffer" the payments so that non-income tasks can be generated for testing, housekeeping, etc.  NFCT adoption will increase the amount of micro workers we can have working at once.

Membership is 95 cents per year (0.000 052 Bitcoin) and this fee is used for private blockchain costs so members do not have to pay a per-transaction fee (transaction or gas).  This membership will be a legal relationship between you and the club - not with me.  Membership will be invite only to start - make sure you sign up for the email notification (bottom of front page) if you are interested!

I did not went through all those 4 pages with comments of your previous thread but I read about you were thinking to use the Webcam as a proof to be physically online . There's a software (probably more than one) called Fake Webcam, which creates a virtual Webcam device and let you choose to play a video files as a fake real stream. This option is not good, actually it's very difficult to prove that there's a person behind the PC and it's not automated. Fingerprint readers might be a better idea, every few minuets you need to swipe your finger through the reader.

30min -1hour captcha, like having1-2min to solve it, would be good enough imo. Maybe even everyone could be on discord or any other group chat app where you could just do random checks with either voice or chat reply confirmation. Anyways, random way of checking on people is the best option if you don't have a direct constant supervision.

EDIT: I used to be a gamemaster on an old world of warcraft private server and the method we would use to see if someone's a bot is watching his movement and whispering him randomly. Everyone who's actually controlling the character will reply in a few seconds, but the a bot won't reply at all. So I'd suggest a pop up chat box or something like that rather than a captcha.

If you can make one input virtual, couldn't you make any of them virtual?  There are two scenarios to consider - active and unique.   I don't need a fingerprint as proof of uniqueness - that would be overkill.  I don't see any members having the experience to draw clients that would need unique verification for at least a few months, so better things to discuss now.

Bots evolve too.  Smiley  I'm sure their creators would have added that feature once server masters started detecting them.

If a member is only being paid per task, there is no justification for harassing them outside of the task assignment.  This is something you can do as you work on other activities.

Absolutely, but this just means that that person would have to be on their pc because captcha/message confirmation will be completely random.

Oh, from the first reply post I understood that you'd need people to be on their pc all the time (hence the video call), if it's per task, then you really don't need any kind of supervision. Just give them an estimated time to complete it. lol
