Investing my $2000 to altcoins instead of Bitcoin

For $ 2000 if you want a safe option i can give you a suggestion to buy coins that are in the top 10 and not stable. Also, if you want to be adventurous you can participate in low-cap projects outside of the top100 and i think such projects take a lot of time to learn and track the project's volatility. Some of the low cap projects that I am following are: idena ,dia ,.... generally small projects spend less money than big projects.

Current $600 price is far below the previous ATH, and we might hit new ATH this alt season

I would put it all on ETH first, I do not enjoy going outside of erc20 world so it will be ETH first and foremost. After that I will check coins that I think could have a good future that is not doing anything right now. For example, UNI token looks to be prime for increase in the future, it is a governance token and if they decide on making it more profitable they can do that and this could make the token go super high in a hyped fashion.

Secondly I think wave could go higher as well, with ADA too because these are coins who are trying some things and so far they failed hence why price is not too much but they could totally increase in the future if they succeed. Find coins like that, things that are working on improving but haven't done it just yet.

If I were you I would keep 500$ in Btc and 1500$ in XRP, EOS, Tezos, NEM, Cardano, Waves, Stellar, and Binance coin. I believe fewer value coins with good potential can give us a good return instead of high-value coins. Most of the Altcoins are still undervalued and can rise anytime.

I agree with you, new altcoins untested, and the level of risk is enormous. Anyone would want to get a big return from their investment, there are so many altcoins that have good potential, Eth is still the main hunt for investors, then followed by Bnb, Waves, Xrp etc, try investing in it, because coins with good potential will be easier to get profit.

I think this is not a small amount of money nor too big to invest, but for $ 2000, i have a few tips you should know, surely will be the top 10 altcoin on CMC and you may be interested in DeFi project currency on a different platform than Ethereum and besides gambling projects,... that's what i think this school will take place in the near future.

If I had $2000, I would definitely invest it in Ethereum. Because it is uncertain whether Bitcoin will have more bull run. Now the bull run of Altcoins has started and Ethereum is the king of Altcoins. Ethereum's growth is higher than other coins and its fidelity is higher. Ethereum's ATH still has a lot left. So I think Ethereum is the best choice for investment now.

The prices of the altcoins right now are not in the peak yet so whatever altcoins that you are going to choose are still safe as long as it is trusted like the top 20 then you can surely profit if  you have guts in holding it until we can hit the peak of the market. You only need to hit the right timing in selling your assets as it is the most difficult thing to do.

$2000 investment money can be put to 2-4 alt currencies, in this way you can lessen the possibility to loss all your investment at once even if you have chosen a 1 currency that are not giving any profit to you as long as the others alts are generating some profit.

I only have two choice if ever I have $2K today, I will invest it on Ethereum and  XRP because I believe that it will continue to increase more before end of this year. But it's up to you if you want to invest even 4 or 6 different altcoins which have a good movement in the market to lessen the possibility that you will loss. Investing is risky, so be careful and do some research specially now that some altcoins also ride on the bull run of bitcoin.

agree with the others, ethereum is the right choice for altcoin investment as its value continues to increase, but XLM, TRX, XRP can also be options as these coins continue to grow.

If i had 2000 to invest today i would have simply invested in ethereum because if you see the charts of btc and eth. Ethereum is falling the exact same path of btc with a little delay this just shows that ethereum is due a big leg up from here plus the eth 2.0 mainnet can act as ideal stimulus to take eth to atleast 1000 mark.

I have some small amounts of most of good alts so if i get extra 2k to invest i would like to invest in a bit high risk projects so that profit potential would also be huge so i would risk it all in utrust utk because it is a very serious project, token has vast utilities and its already working woth mainstream companies with real use cases.

I would probably divide it in half and invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Because both of them have big potential for the future. By the way, Bitcoin is on a very good run and Ethereum is going like that too now. I think that this rally won't end soon and continue for some time more.
