I myself have been engaged in the promotion of projects (bounty) for two years, during this time I noticed that most companies simply treat other people's work in bad faith, in other words they don't pay for the work done.

I want to suggest to the bitcointalk and everyone who is in this thread to change the payment of the bounty company, pay once a week, or pay ETH

It was discussed many times before. It's you who has to do your homework and don't jump head first into any bounty campaign. It's you who has to research about the company you are advertising.

Until some 3 weeks ago I was part of a bounty campaign that did pay in their own token, but the payments were always on time (although monthly) and easy to convert into BTC or ETH (although they were made in their own token). So it can be done properly too, if the project owners are honest. Of course, I've done quite some research before joining there.

In my opinion, this will help to eliminate scams!!!

what actually happened is that must of the project is their project team that decides what to pay to the bounty manager, some may decides to pay in their native currency and while may chooses with other currencies that are already trading in the market.
that is why it is advised for you to make a proper research before you participate in any project to avoid joining a scam project.

We have many trusted bounty managers who are doing more research in any bounty they handle to make sure they don't promote any scam project.

First of all, you should need to know the difference between bounty campaigns and bounty companies. if you look a little closer, you will see that there is a significant difference.
Next, looking at your post history, you are just another bounty spammer which probably does not read bounty rules at all.
For example, latest your proof of authentication post is on Ideaology bounty thread where is not necessary to post POA post.

So, you just another one bounty spammer who does not read anything, but only automatically posts on the forum.

About rewards, if you do not agree with bounty terms and you want payments in ETH or something else with real value, the solution is simple. Do not participate in the bounty which doesn't pay in tradeable coins.

your involved for two years now in bounty , you already have alot of experience and you should already know how to pick a bounty and you should also know that bounty does really work this way .scams can still occur if payments will be made in eth or per week

Why would you even be motivated with promoting projects which pay with their valueless shitcoin? If you are the one, I mean all the bounty hunters, who stop working for such shit tokens, they will either be forced to pay with ETH or leave the market. However, you should only promote projects which you believe can get you benefit.

I agree to pay per week, but if Developer pay with ETH it also needs consideration But each project also requires coin circulation to holders, I think this is a strategy from the developer. Think of each bounty being paid in famous coins, Bounty hunters will mostly sell them. And maybe they won't buy coins in this project, and the developer will also lose because the coins don't spread.

I agree that the bounty hunter will be paid with famous coins if the difficulty level is high like a signature campaign.

Its impossible yet you would destined to earn shit tokens in the end of the day.! No team would waste up those precious ETH or BTC came from their shit token sale.

They would accumulate it for their own and this is the real part of being a bounty hunter which you would really have no choice but to deal with it.

If you dont like to earn tokens then simply quit bounty hunting but if not then you can choose to do bounty hunting but expect into those unfortunate circumstances.

Guaranteed payment is also 99% never going to happen thing. Escrowed tokens can be a thing but very few I have seen in the past and most of those were of course run by well known managers.

The intention of these projects is to raise money and not to pay people who promote them so of course bounty hunters get less attention than what investors get. Also teams know well how to screw its hunters by not delaying token distribution while advisors sell of their profits and exit and the bounty hunters get their shitcoins and prices -100%  of ICO price.

Sad but true, the entire bounty system is a mess worsened by its own participants.

It' better if you were asking the manager directly regarding this. The manager can't argue with the decision that will be taken by the team. The only thing that the manager can decline to manage such campaign when it can't deal with the rules but those were creating their own bounty and when you didn't agree with it and they will said it's free for you to leave from the campaign.
It's a difficult task that will never be solved.

It's been a long time bounty companies are paying out with their native currency, most of cases it reduce their budget. After listing a tokens bounty hunters gets only few bucks, this is common scenario. I have doubt if bounty companies get under our instruction, it's more good practice joining a bounty which under a good management. However, I'm not oppose your idea rather full support on you.

Actually, this thread had some sense though. If all bounty manager here requires project to pay in BTC or other currency with value, It will really eliminate scam. A legit project has a budget for marketing and promotion because they have private investors like VC before they start there project to backup there ICO.

This method has been done before. Bounty manager will put into the BTC/ETH equivalent to the token allocated for bounty then just send it back to the project team wallet once they successfully distribute bounty token and guarantee the listing of the token.

This is more rather than put the effort on bounty hunters to DYOR, Bounty Manager is few compared to bounty hunters that will do the adjustment.

You can wait the bounty campaign which will pay you in ETH, that is the solution for you. I just weird for those bounty hunters out there who complain that they didn't pay from the bounty program that have been promoted but after that they just joined in another bounty campaign. Their complain will be worthless because the scam project will be comfortable to keep making another scam project. If bounty hunter stop promoting the project because this thing I believe there will not scam project anymore, each developers will pay bounty hunter as their wish because they need bounty hunter to promote the project.

This is great topic but seems not to be updated frequently. I used to follow two other topics in the "Altcoin Discussion" section:

1) list of bounties good quality (new update 21_11_2020): It's a great lsit made by user lvsca but it's not mentioned how he spot those bounties as good quality. By checking his list, i guess he chose them depends on bounty manager. Users cn also suggest adding the bounties they think are good.

2) Overview List of Exchangeable Bounty Campaign: Made by user Akiko, the topic collect bounties in the altcoin section which pay with exchangeble tokens. This topic is so good for hunters who don't want to lose their efforts anymore.

Yeah right. All of the favor goes to those project owners, their team, advisors, and everyone who's part of the creation of that project. But for the bounty hunters, there's not that much left for them anymore. They get the tokens, say that there's an escrow but that scenario you have said is the next thing that they have to deal with.

Interesting enough, meanwhile that thread I've posted also got updated.
You cannot blame people for getting busy from time to time. It's not easy to maintain such a thread.
