Hey everyone,

Ross from Boost VC here to let you know that we are hosting a Bitcoin Hackathon this April 25th - 27th! If you're in the area and want to learn more, CoinDesk did a write up yesterday and the website for the Hackathon is here: http://www.boost.vc/hackathon. The cost to register is $25 in BTC, and the first place prize is currently 5 BTC.

Our first hackathon was at the Bitcoin Convention last year (2013) in San Jose, making this our second annual Bitcoin Hackathon. We've learned a lot from our first event and look forward to seeing what comes out this year. Our judges include Dan Held of ZeroBlock/Blockchain.info, Avish Bhama of Vaurum, and Santi Subotovsky of Emergence Capital. Sponsors include Amazon AWS, Coinbase, and a few of our Bitcoin portfolio companies.

Boost is looking to accelerate 100 Bitcoin companies over the next three years, so the hackathon is a great place to kickstart your project or company! There will be designers, programmers, investors, and other Bitcoin startups wandering around to network with and give mentorship to participants.

Feel free to shoot me any questions!

Ross

Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!
