Basically it is a situation where the market is experiencing correction, because even the decline is not happening every day. But what is worrying is that those who buy at high prices then panic selling because of the sudden change in market situation. At least when the market situation is like that, then I think it would be better to continue to calm anyone you know not to lose through panic, because even though the market is very volatile but in the end a recovery will always happen.

I feel it was a temporary correction which took place after altcoins went bullish especially XRP and XLM which gained over 100% in last one week.

Because those 2 coins have reasons why they were pumped last week until today, so there is nothing to be surprised about that.

I'm really interested to see what would happened in 2021 instead. With so many altcoins are going to get forked/upgraded later and that means there is a sign/signal for us to grab some coins whose having an upgrade. But be careful, just like you said there will be a correction on some coins and it will test your mental.

Not all altcoins are created equal so expect only the top altcoins in the market to make a steady gain what happen in 2017 is not going to happen in the next all time high, only coins with pure potential are going to gain on this new all time high so watch and check what you are investing or you could be in a lot of losses.

I can say that the market is still in bullish state and for sure that there will be some altcoins out there that will have a strong rally or what they call going to the moon. The altcoin dominance is still the same because bitcoin is currently trending where its price doesn't yet exhausted and a lot of investors are focusing on bitcoin only but once the chart of the bitcoin become unhealthy, expect that there will some investors that will withdraw their money and re invest it in altcoin market that can cause to its dominance to go up. The altcoins are doing good especially the ETH where its price suddenly recover after it got bounce in its support. Not all altcoins are created equal so expect only the top altcoins in the market to make a steady gain what happen in 2017 is not going to happen in the next all time high, only coins with pure potential are going to gain on this new all time high so watch and check what you are investing or you could be in a lot of losses.

You forgot to mention the Pump and Dump coins that can generate income also(for those in right timing because more will surely trapped)
But yeah not all coins can survive the market because of the competition and the demand.
But at least the altcoin season is starter by Defi coins in which makes a break this past months so the normal coins is also waiting for their time and if not this year then expect in 2021.

Todays altcoin market situation some are in uptrend but there's a time price declined. We can't really judge the market situation because of its volatility. So only those project with real use case the price may sustain in the market. There are so many predictions in this market situation so in my view alts season will happen for sure but we cannot tell when, probably next year hopefully.

Good thing is currently happening mate, what to expect next is the possible market declination as this was already a part of our historical breakthrough. I remembered holding one of that ico project two years ago, and now it's out of the limelight which I think really disgusting to see. Through there's some of them starts to wake up and ready for another altcoins green days just like before, we still need to be careful on our choices to which of them can provide us better future.

It was market correction that took place, even till now once Bitcoin is at $19k region it will dump again before gathering momentum to shot up again, therefore with the little study of the market it is evident enough the market this time around is different from that of 2017. There are only 50-50 chance for our shitcoin holdings would really neither becomes alive or would be totally dead forever.We know that majority of them are shit

Its not a mandatory thing for them to stick out into those altcoins because whenever where they do saw the opportunity on making money then they wont really be
