Defend the bitcoin network to the death

No need because the bitcoin network is good. If you downloaded a bitcoin client then you will then be part of the network bitcoin. It just make sense that why do we need to defend bitcoin network when in fact that there are many had it downloaded and being part already with bitcoin network. No one can stop bitcoin in my own opinion unless all the countries around the world will unite to prohibit anyone to get bitcoin or to have it access.

Bitcoin can live longer than our lives so it is not such a worry and he already stated that we will not do it literally where we should waste our lives, it is not like that.

It wasn't the original post, he edited it. There wasn't any indication of it being a metaphor or anything similar. Bitcoin can outlive us, doesn't mean it will or it should.

What do you mean? A war? Absolutely when things like that happens and weapon of mass destruction occurs then probably all of currency will become worthless because humanity will be badly affected.

I don't think fiat would be devalued to that extent, even in wars. Else, how would people still transact?

Bitcoin, conversely is more susceptible to EMP and disruption in the internet than you think. Alternative forms of communication is possible but isn't widely adopted.

I understand what you mean, that we as Bitcoin enthusiasts must give the best for Bitcoin. Because the number of people who support
and trust Bitcoin is still very small compared to the world's population. If we as supporters of Bitcoin do not defend Bitcoin, who else will
protect Bitcoin. Because there are so many out there who want to kill Bitcoin. So in a war strategy with a small number there is still
a chance of winning the battle. Therefore, because the number of Bitcoin supporters is small, we are all trying to keep the popularity and

I understand what you're saying, but I'm not an extremist when it comes to Bitcoin. It is the best candidate to replace our fiat, decaying system. But if something better pops out or if a flaw is discovered in the technology (I don't think it will happen if it stood its ground for so many years) I'll change my "team".

I full-heartedly agree with you! Down with tyranny and oppression. Down with the greedy governments of the world. I would give my life for bitcoin any day. Without it I am nothing. I wouldn't have work or a job or a house, car, tv, pc, and anything else that's around me at this time.

This is not a cult. You don't have to defend the network with your lives.

It's highly unlikely that Bitcoin will 'die' unless there is a catastrophic event that brings down the entire internet and all of the hard drive's contents. The number of nodes that are present on the network ensures that there is sufficient redundancy. It also won't really matter that much if Bitcoin gets abandoned because there'll probably be a better version of the crypto available.

If you see the posts of users, most of them think that we have to defend bitcoin as OP mentioned. Idk why some people post things like this and blame every altcoin, especially Bitcoin cash and XPR, yeah, it's clear that there is shady marketing behind it but blaming BCH because it has higher block size and offers better transaction fees and speed, for me, sounds illogical.
So no, we don't have to defend anything, especially bitcoin. It's so strong that it doesn't need defence from you, see it's price, it's rising, going on the moon while you are on the earth, so, I think the answer is clear.

There's no need for any defending or some sort because it cant really be go down unless if internet would be totally lost on this planet and as long

there were people who do engage nor support bitcoin then circulation will continue unless if theses people or the community will jump off into another much
better coin or tech then that would be an inevitable thing for bitcoin to die.(not literally) but when theres no user then its already understandable.

As long demand and support is there then its unlikely for bitcoin to vanish or die, it isnt a guarantee but there's always a plausibility.

You have to draw a fine line between inspiration and obsession. And if you ate goint to sacrifice your life just to male sure your asset is profitable, might be something that you want to have checked with a psychiatrist. No offence meant bro. Just making sure you are okay. Be it metaphorical or literal, bitcoin is just an asset. You don't have to patronize it like that.
