When I have decided to take Bitcointalk seriously in mid-2017, I didn’t have any idea yet about signature campaigns, bounty, etc. My goal was to look for some freelance jobs who are accepting Bitcoin. I am still new when it comes to Bitcoin, such as knowing my BTC address, blockchain, private keys, mnemonic phrases, nodes, mining, etc. I did learned most of them here on Bitcointalk and other sources are from Youtube, etc. For me, not only that I did get some freelance jobs, but learning Bitcoin, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, etc., at the same time.
For me, Bitcointalk is both a great source for learning and making money. I give this forum credit for making me who I am today, in which I keep educating people deeply about the real and positive use cases of Bitcoin (because most of them are victims of ponzi scams that are using Bitcoin as front).
I know that in the first place, most of us are here just to make money. But when we dive deeply and getting exposed to this industry even more, we are learning and improving our skills to provide even more value here to the community. For most of my early years, making money through freelance jobs and bounties is my fixed mindset. But when I’ve decided to elevate myself by improving my skills through video editing, becoming a keynote or guest speaker, hosting interviews, etc., I knew that I could be more than just a regular bounty hunter.
