The thread title catch my attention.

It's a game changer if everyone will do just like what OP is doing, quit smoke and use that expenses into investment, pretty much a goo idea.
Though this is just a small amount but who knows how much would value in the future, and it's on a weekly basis, I think 10 years of consistently buying bitcoin per week, things could be very positive in OP's future, we should follow this kind of mentality.

Personally to quit smoke is difficult and equally not easy to stop, if your purpose is to eliminate, I think little by little it will be good whereas we couldn't forcing to anyone's best for their key of stress, but soon I think it is suitable to break through more budget for smoke as an additional investment for trading Bitcoin, I guess buying Bitcoin every weekend is perfect than smoking.

I have been planning on quitting on my online games and focus on crypto but it is my stress reliever and it is one of my source of happiness.
I think it would really be boring if I would quit and just focus on crypto on the other side I could earn more by doing it but the stress and fatigue isn't worth it at all.

In our country, they put some heave tax on smoke and liquor so that the people will consider to check their financial status and maybe quit those things. It helps a lot of people to quit their bad habits and until now, they continue doing it with no backing out on the rules they implement. If those people who currently smoke have a mindset like the one who started this thread, they can have some chance to use the amount they spend on such things for even more benefits like investing in BTC or any other good purposes to invest their money with.

Instead of killing yourselves you thought of using that money something fruitful.
I can also give you a advice, instead of Buying Bitcoins, you can go with other altcoins and try trading.
This can help you to get more profits or if your luck isn’t not good enough then you gonna face losses.
And you spending 280$ per month on cigrattes , its the salary of a normal average man.
It proves that you have enough money to manage your expenses.
So it’s better you should give a try at trading.

Giving up your vices that cause you to spend money and convert it into an investment  way of savings, now OP is really enjoying his
profits, the value of bitcoin even you bought it from the last time bull is almost doubled, if you keep buying both from high and low

In 2008 I used Welbutrin to quit (after almost 25 years 2 packs a day)
In 2011 I thought I could "just smoke a little every now and then": NOPE.
I quit again in 2012 with Welbutrin AND the extra kick of Allen Carrs book, haven't smoked since....I owe myself so much money

It is amazing how much of a better life we could live if we become conscious about our spending flaws and invest that money wisely. I know right. It's a win-win situation for him. Saving and investing for his future through bitcoin while going towards a healthier life by means of giving up his smoking vice. I gotta say that even though I don't know this dude, I'm proud of his decision.

I think this guy has already good profit with buying bitcoin little by little due to the fact that bitcoin constantly rises oflver the period of time. However, if he will be too greedy and wishes to earn more, then holding btc would not be likely good because the market is very unpredictable and it can go collapse in just a short period of time and that will depend on the whales with huge bitcoin holdings.

That is a good news for sure decision you took to believe health is wealth. Many bitcoin users has testified how they have quite their normal business to Join bitcoin investment which is really helping them to do well in their businesse.

Hey folks,

I decided to quit smoking today and buy Bitcoin every Sunday. A pack of cigarettes I smoke is $10. It cost me $70 per week. So every Sunday, I will buy Bitcoin without checking if the price went up or down. Even if it goes to the moon, I will keep buying. I will edit this post frequently in the future. This Sunday I will start investing $70 in Bitcoin every  Sunday. I will keep this doing as long as possible and let's see what is going to happen.

I believe that at least I will invest in something that I believe, instead of wasting money on unhealthy cigarettes. Maybe some of you can do the same.

Thank you all for your support guys. 1. Week I bought 0,003650 BTC. Even the last 2 days it was cheaper, I waited until Sunday to buy. Rules are rules. I edited my post and let's see what is going to happen.

Btw, to be honest, I couldn't stop smoking completely. But in 3 days I only smoked 5 cigarettes in total. I smoke cigarettes for 10 years. I quit smoking for 1 year before. So I can do it again. Probably I will not smoke more. I feel better now.

I followed Allen Carr's famous Easyway to Stop Smoking method to quit smoking before and in my opinion, it's the best way I have ever tried. I am sure it will work again. For smokers I can recommend this method.

edit: I converted € -> $ to evaluate easily. I invest $70 weekly.

This is a story that is worth following. I only saw the form of this story through memes in which the smoker could easily buy blocks of stones then build a house within years instead of smoking. Now, I'm seeing someone gaining more money instead of smoking which is really great!! Kudos to your upgrade to a healthy lifestyle!

This investment is surely worth it of your time because every time that you can smoke, you are creating a more productive decision which is monetizing your time.

Where do you live its seem good to live there  I am live in indonesia and most people here are smoking even a kid sad watch that but indonesia still development country and most of the tax revenue from cigar its very high to develop my country itself  i hope in near future indonesia can start using your country rules

Well.. here in India also we have similar sayings. If someone wants to give up smoking, then that decision should be purely voluntary. There could be financial and health benefits if someone decides to give up his smoking habit, but then again it is open to interpretation. And the outcome can vary from person to person. And obviously we need to remember that investing in Bitcoin do have its own risk factors.

Not so Appropriate for the Convo given ,Because How can it be possible when they are talking about 20 years Life duration when the involve is only 25 years old, meaning from age of 5 the counting starts ?Kids even Such milk that young .I guess it is Much good if the "Person" is at least 40-45 years old and still Not having a Lambo.
But the essence is the same , we must not smoke and save our funds ,believe me coming from a former "Chain Smoker" ..
