Hello dear community!

There are a lot of fake pages and profiles of Trust Wallet app lately.

There is a fake app uploaded on the Google Play store that tries to get users' information.
The link to the fake app is:

Code:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appen.basedrivbers

Just note here that the uploader of this app is named " Trast WaIIet Dapp ". Obviously, they typed "Trust" for "Trast"

Also, there is a Facebook group that impersonates Trust Wallet.

The link is:
Code:
https://www.facebook.com/Trust-Crypto-Wallet-104747664839194

The name of the group is Trust Crypto Wallet which is kind of innacurate and people who are known of Trust Wallet are not going to fall for this.

I am not sure if those two (the app and the group) are used and managed by the same scammer, however it seems to me that they are maybe linnked. This is why I am opening one single thread for them.

Fake review and followers are very popular these days. And it also costs almost nothing. You can then take advantage of that. I think many people will also fall for that. Deception or not? It is not punishable or wrong in itself.
If you were to look at it from that point of view, a lot of sites would be fake because they have a lot of fake followers on them.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

Good thing google removed the said app already.

Also, there is a Facebook group that impersonates Trust Wallet.

Not new, there are lots of impersonators of famous wallets and exchange on facebook, all you just need to do is report it and stay away from it. Those who support the pages and groups are probably bots used for likes, follow-for-follow accounts, or the people behind the scheme.
