Haha yeah he’s only the most famous artist in the world. Should be real easy  .

I did speak with Martin Fischer who has some tremendous bitcoin art and he said he’s interested in doing a history coldkey set. If Yogg is interested hit me up.

Yeah that’s going to be impossible unfortunately. Banksy isn’t going to collab with anyone he doesn’t know nor would he if it involved someone else profiting off his art.  I’m not sure he collabs at all or if we know if he does or not. Curious if anyone knows that.  BUT.. a coldkey banksy themed card would be pretty sweet.

Yes, I think it will be complicated to make a collaboration with Banksy.
But with raising awareness, hopefully we will collaborate with other different awesome artists.

The december History Coldkey will be available soon, and it wil somehow be the last of it's kind....

The remaining unsold Q3 20 Coldkeys are not ready to be released yet.
This will happen when we are ready, so anyone who wants to complete their collection and didn't have the opportunity will be able to.

There will be major changes happening to the History Coldkey serie, as soon as Q1 2021.
Given what's been happening the crypto-world recently, this isn't something that we can miss to document on a physical medium.

I am currently making some changes to the shop so it becomes much easier for everyone to manage orders and subscriptions.

While going back to the list of my History Coldkeys in the process of putting one of the sets up for sale few mins back, I just realized how interesting this project has been and has accomplished what it was actually intended to do.

As most of you know the way these History Coldkeys work is to load $50 worth of bitcoins based on the price of BTC on the 1st of each month. Looking back at the BTC value loaded on these coldkeys originally when the  project was started back in Oct of 2019 it seemed like it was very tiny amount of $50. While doing the calculation based on the Current BTC Value(approx $23750), the value of some of the coldkeys have almost quadrupled in last few months. Here is the Original BTC Value Loaded, Original price($50) and the current $$ value of BTC on each Coldkey.

And yes, it's 50€. In this time frame (Q4 2019 <-> Q4 2020), the EUR/USD rate was around 1.10-1.20.
So the initial funding rate is equivalent to somewhere between $55-$60 depending on that exchange rate.
Anyway, the result is stunning !

I am very proud and happy of achieving the initial purpose behind these releases : peg an amount of fiat into BTC, regularly, at the exchange rate of the moment when it happens.

We still have the December 2020 History Coldkey coming very soon, and this will be the last of this kind.

We can consider that these 15 different monthly releases are one-of-a-kind, as they are very limited in quantity.
We can also consider that they are a distinct part of the History Coldkey serie, as the principle behind the History Coldkeys will evolve as soon as of January 2021.

Since we cannot change this thread to self moderated, I will start a new one for the ongoing serie soon. This thread will remain opened.


The 2nd post of this thread has been updated to gather many of the designs in the same place.
(I still need to add the Q4 20 to it, will do when the distribution is completely finalized. )
