With so many crypto wallets to choose from, I decided to make a curated list of the best online (web based) solutions. Online crypto wallets (or web wallets) typically store your private keys online and can be accessed with a user-defined password or some other authentication method. Of course, in addition to the obvious advantages, online wallets also have several disadvantages. In this topic, I will try to explain all these aspects briefly as well as to highlight some of the most popular options. I conducted extensive research, and I didn't find a list like that on this forum (correct me if I'm wrong). Contributions from all members of the bitcointalk community are welcome. If you are aware of any interesting web wallets that should be included, please don't hesitate to suggest them. I'm definitely going to check them out and add them to the list. Web WalletsService

I hate web wallets in the extreme, but that's just me. Good effort so far on this list.
You (or someone else who's knowledgeable about web-based wallets) might want to expound upon the reasons why they're not a generally-preferred method of storing crypto, principally the security issue. Newcomers to bitcoin might not know the difference between wallet types--I know I sure as hell didn't when I first got into it. I had used the blockchain.net wallet for a while before figuring out that software wallets were much better.
Either way, props on this type of thread, as I don't think I've seen a compilation of web wallets before.

@FatFork 1) Correction: - GreenAdress is not a wallet 'web-based' and shouldn't be listed here. It's an application available only on mobile or desktop, not a website you can access with a browser, the username&password. This web application has been deprecated for some time now. - Blockchain.com is not a custodial wallet, a custodial wallet is when the company handles the user's private key. While with blockchain.com when you create a wallet you create an encrypted file which the company doesn't store. If you don't have access anymore to your password they won't be able to help. They provide just the software to create/use your wallet and provide the private keys 2) You could also link BTC.com, Coin.space, and BitGo since they also have a web-based wallet https://wallet.btc.com/https://coin.space/https://www.bitgo.com/services/custody/wallet-platform@The Pharmacist It's the type of wallet good enough when you need to make a transaction quickly. Instead to take your hardware wallet, connect with it, etc. For your daily needs for example.

But there are some secure mobile wallet that can be use for sending quick transaction, the ease of web wallet have led to lost of crypto by alot of people and as @The Pharmacist said i don't like web wallet either due to its vulnerability. @Fatfork, blenderwallet seems to currently offer service only as a web wallet and it wil be nice if you include magnum wallet either.

All good points, but you probably missed the 'work-in-progress' in the title. Thanks for the suggestions, though.

Some wallets like coinbase might confuse some users. As of today coinbase now has the custodial wallet and a noncustodial one. Apps for both custodial and noncustodial are available in google playstore and App Store - Noncustodial - https://wallet.coinbase.com- Custodial - https://www.coinbase.com

Web wallets are not usually my choice, but maybe they can useful for some people in certain situations. I think that Bitamp web wallet should be added to the list as non-custodial open source wallet that can be used only for Bitcoin, but work on lightning network is in progress. Just watch out when using any web wallets, to bookmark correct page and watch out for phishing attacks and fake pages. https://www.bitamp.com/

Coin.space embedded changelly exchange XMR to BTC - money Stuck, changelly say the didn't get anything, coinspace tells the money has gone. Writing tons of messages, having no money, wasting time. feeling like a fool running between coinspace and changelly, they send me from one to another saying it's not their problem
I think coin.space has to solve the problem - it's an embedded exchange system in their wallet! I don't enter the recipient address manually
Updated It was not a problem of coin.space! Changelly solved the problem
after 15 messages from my side, including a) technical details b) investigation results c) words like ***ck the answer telling that the problem will be solved soon was received:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for keeping in touch!
We have some good news for you! It looks like your payment was finally detected thanks to the details you provided. The technical department is investigating the case now, so it might take some time to complete the transaction. However, the positive dynamics is definitely present.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the misunderstanding we might have caused before!
We are working on the case right now and will keep you emailed to notify you of the updates.
Thank you for your patience and trust!
Sincerely, Changelly support team

https://lobstr.co/ has also a web wallet and a good addition if you are an XLM fanatic, you can easily add your XLM private keys and import your assets residing in Stellar chain like eth or btc, usdc. Im using this wallet for some years now and no any issues so far.

I don't use web wallet, but the list is useful. As for "Open Source" column, take note it's possible only some parts of the service is open source. For example, Lumi Wallet only open-sourcing core library of their application, not the application itself.

I think this one should be added to your list it works as a web wallet and you can also use it as an offline wallet. - https://coinb.in/#walletI search deep and I found a couple of web wallets but most of them are unknown except on this one below. I hope someone can confirm if it's legit or not. Here's the site https://www.coinspot.com.au/multicoinwallets it has much traffic of around 15m based on similarweb

So it doesn't let you store actual BTCs? if so, i don't think it deserve a spot here. Pseudo-bitcoins may have bitcoin in their name but they're technically altcoins.
