BTC stuck in Electrum wallet

Hey all
I have some btc stuck in a wallet. sent it to this wallet about 3 years ago or so from my coinbase account.
now i am trying to withdraw it by trying to send it to my coinbase account but every time i hit the send button the status says unpaid , there is no transaction ID.

any thoughts how i can extract this?

Right click the transaction you're interested in, press "Pay...". A window called Create Transaction will show up with your transaction details. Check the receipient, amount and the fees. If all of them looks correct, press Finalize, Sign and Broadcast. Check the details carefully.

Are you trying to send the Bitcoins using the URI on the browser? Ie. some button on Coinbase's website.

Unfortunately i can't sign or broadcast. these options are greyed out. also there is no transaction ID , and i am sending them to a wallet address.

You have to do what @ranochigo suggested and click the Sign button followed by Broadcast.

Your transaction ID is unknown, which means you didn't finalize the transaction. At the left of this window, there is a button to the left called "Finalize", click that and then the Sign button becomes enabled. Once you sign the transaction, the Broadcast button will be enabled.

You won't get a transaction ID until the transaction has been finalized.

On the screenshot you provided, what is at the bottom left of that window?
If there is a button saying "Finalize", then press that, and you should then be able to press "Sign" followed by "Broadcast".
If there is instead two buttons saying "Export" and "Save", and "Sign" and "Broadcast" both remain grayed out, then you might be using a watch-only wallet. Look at the title bar of your main Electrum window. It will say "Electrum 4.0.x - your_wallet_name", followed by something in square brackets. What does it say inside those square brackets?

I also believe that OP didn't sign+broadcast the tx. The current UI is a little bit confusing for newbies.

OP, if you are uncertain about the steps provided for reasons like the amount of money there is maybe big, you can always check everything you want with Electrum on Testnet.

With a fee of 300 sat/vB, you are heavily overpaying.

Currently, 1/10 of the fee (30 sat/vB) is more than enough to get a confirmation in the next block.
You could save 90% in fees and would still get a very likely confirmation within the next block.

I confirm. Just sent a transaction with 20sat/b fee rate and it got confirmed within few minutes.

Whether the wallet has the private key or it's watch-only, you won't get the transaction hash if you don't finalize the transaction. Most probably, the OP hasn't finalized the transaction.

You don't need to sign the transaction to get the TXID because the signature is no longer a variable within the TXID. If it's a Segwit transaction, you can determine the TXID without the signature within the transaction as the original position of the ScriptSig only contains a placeholder.

As to why the TXID is empty, OP likely hasn't adjusted his fees yet and thus it cannot calculate the TXID without that.

If it's a legacy address, the behavior will be different.

The screenshot that OP provided would appear to show the "Advanced Preview"... AFTER the "finalize" button has been selected... PRIOR to "finalize" being clicked the RBF checkbox and locktime boxes are still available for editing:

The only instance I can find where the "sign" and "broadcast" buttons are greyed out is when you have a "watching only" wallet...

@OP, if you see "watching only" in the title bar of your wallet like this:


Then, unfortunately, you do not have the private keys in this wallet to be able to spend the coins...
