As I see Doge may still have a chance to grow, but I wouldn't bet on it depending solely on the tweets. With its current state, it is almost the name that many people are searching for because of what it is creating in the past, that should not be a reason for people to continue. Wrong or money for it, there are more options for everyone than buying doge and waiting for the price to rise.

I agree with you, there is no reason for you to hold on to Dogecoin anymore, too many games that elon musk make for Dogecoin,
Dogecoin is a coin of quality and valuable value to the community, not as a pump and dump coin. I also believe that the price of Dogecoin shouldn't be this high, because Dogecoin's fundamentals are very weak. It's better to look for other coins than focus on Dogecoin.

seeing the recent news, i think it's good for hodl doge. we know that elon musk has been very influential in the crypto world these days, after bitcoin is pumped up, next is doge. so good for hodl doge.

Well, on the hindsight if you listened to your friend and kept your few doge tokens you should be in real profit after Elon got it pumped to $0.08. However, not much has happened to it after that unprecedented rise. And the way it's looking now, it's on a descent. Currently trading slightly above 5cents.

That's absolutely correct. That also posses a bit (major, actually) concern for me. The surplus nature of its supply will always make a mess of whatever price it should attain. What gives something its value is its scarcity. With Dogecoin there's no scarcity.

I think that dogecoin is good for day trading or scalping but not hodling it in the long run knowing for a fact that there is enormous number of dogecoin circulating in the market and it doesn't have any usecases, I think it is not beneficial to do long term hodling of it.

Doge has surprised analysis and predictors now and than but with so much hype and support from interesting people like Elon Musk, Doge can't be considered an investment as its supply is unlimited and they are being overtaken by many of limited supply coins. After the increase in the transaction fees of BTC, I have thought of converting my BTC and LTC to DOGE for the transactions and keep them as DOGE. On the second thought, I thought of converting my DOGE to LTC and keep.

I have gone through some articles about DOGE's future price and I got some 50-50 opinions. I discussed with my friend and he suggested me to hold till mid-2021, I can't say why till mid-2021.

It's true that many sites have started accepting DOGE, thus it is getting popular so there is a chance that the price may increase. Still, my knowledge says there are certain loopholes like there is no upper limit in mining DOGE and it is still much easier to mine compared to others. In short, the demand & cost curve is a bit of a failure here. Though one can't say what might happen after 20 years.

Here I want some expert advice on this. Whether it is a good idea to convert and hold or keep my DOGE reserve constant.

I dont think that was a good Idea, Dogecoin is just a meme coin, and the only reason why the price is rising because of Elon Musk endorsement which is no fundamentals to support in long term, whether we like it or not Doge price will eventually return to its previous level after the hype and speculation will fade off so stay focus on that reason to avoid any possible losses in the future.

I think there are still plenty of sleeping dragon coins that are worth investing and holding longer than doge.

If you still believe doge will hit$1 you should buy it now, while the price atill under $0.10 but remember that doge has unlimited supply and 50% of coin hodl by whale, they could crash the doge market anytime. Whatever it'll always be a wise decision to make money from dege if you get chance.although doge coin didn't hit any mejor milestone since years but now everywhere positive news about dego.even due to high transactions fee of btc & others currency, people covert their assest into doge and even start holding it.thus doge is highly used by people and become more demandful.so i think it won't be wrong decision to covert btc to doge.but careful before buy doge or bitcoin or others.so you may do whatever seems right for you

I agree with the Musk's Tweet that made this coin pump but not agree that this is totally a bad coin. Musk back doge, so it's nice to at least put a little investment on it, for me not to hold but to just take profit on short term and if I would have to buy, not at the moment, I'll wait until the market turns bearish as definitely it will make Doge to slowly get back to below 0.01 usd.

The last tweets by Elon proved the market is manipulated hardly by the market makers and I can't blame the Elon Musk if he decided to make a profit on unregulated crypto markets. The only point is still interesting for me is the selection process, why exactly Dogecoin is popular on social media if there are more than 3500 altcoins on coinmarketcap?

Yes, they're also looking into that matter. But it's just an investigation directly to Elon not with Doge. They can't do that much disabling or delisting Doge to exchanges unless they push into a lawsuit and pull it out. But as most doge investors, they should be good.
Is Elon has already calmed or he's just waiting for another thing to tweet? his last tweet about doge was on Feb 24.

If Elon Musk made any monetary gains with all his tweets then he will be in trouble, basically if he invested well before tweeting and then hype the project and made billions then it can attract a warning as far as i understand and nothing serious. But the allegation will last because of the manipulation and i doubt SEC and do anything that rather than a warning.

It is not a bad project, most of the doge coins are used for gambling, once after Elon mask, tweet Dogecoin started increasing its price. We shouldn't react to every tweet and shouldn't invest high amounts into the Doge, if you don't like better stay away from the Dogecoin and start investing in the desired coin which you like most.

What you are saying is not wrong, but you should also know that Dogecoin has been in crypto for a very long time, even though it never exploded, but Dogecoin always has value even though it's very small in size, and one more thing is winning the lottery is not It's easy because expecting a $ 1 price on Dogecoin tokens still looks like a dream that won't come true,

If you have no another plan, why not? But if you gonna sell BTC or other promising cryptos for Dogecoins, think about it. It doesn't worth selling BTC and buy dogecoin which is promoted by social media influencers. The sad part is even the smartest people can shill the Doge and the recent tweets have affected the investment decision of the many new investors. The price has been decreased to $0.04 after the bubble pops. Be careful and invest wisely.
