Most of these questions can easily be found the answers to just by looking at their website and original whitepapers of all DAG style coins. They do not use the typical blockchain but mesh technology to protect from attacks.

It is not hyped because DAG coins still have no real utility when PoW works fine for most people.

if you believe with any kind of DAG project, i think you should increase your patience
because as i see all DAG project didn't have a significant movements at this moment, but soon or later i believe all good DAG project will fly

The team is working fine on it. It's just that we're in the times that there's not that much attention for coins like this.
There are other coins that are better on it which is believed by the community and until the majority notices it then its time will come.

The golden era for DAG coin already passed and the team never did any marketing to the NANO. As far as i know people have known that the development in DAG coin gets stuck and that's why they were moving to the new trend like DEFI or swap service. I remember when this coin got hype but so many people disappointed with the result of development.
It's not the best as blockchain coin.

I think by implementing a no tx fee, you eliminate a way to earn makes it not desirable to put in as an investment.

i would buy a coin that i can stake and make a certain % annually rather than a coin that doesnt make any money and be a hopeful that it increases its price in the long-term.

It doesnt really need to be hyped but rather all will really vary or depend on the demand itself.I've seen a handful of projects which are really worth to invest on basing off on
their true usage or relevance on todays world compared into those projects which doesnt really have any sense at all.

but how it did end? Those projects are on low ranks and to those which arent that needed or relevant are on the top.This is why you would really be having that question in mind
on how the heck those positions interchanged? Community will decide in the end of the day.

NANO coin? i wont deny that this one is good but it isnt really that enough to gain that attention.

It means that it is not enough for the project to be successful. Also, profit has been the most important issue in recent years. Whichever Elon Musk tweets, its price goes up. lol

I have bought this when it was still called MRAI Aka Raiblock but i have sold my coins when it reached ATH. I have also got it from the raiblock faucet too and it's so easy to get a few thousand Mrai in a short time.
This coin has been giving me a very big profit and i remember when i have bought several hundred thousand MRAI at a very cheap price.


If I know that this coin would touch a very high price and I might buy 10million MRAI lol

I missed that opportunity, I should have bought it when it was still a RailBlocks, it changed name to NANO when the price was already at its peak.
Looking at NANO now, the volume is still liquid but I think it's hard to ride at this one when lots of investors have already enjoyed cashing out their huge profit.

Isn't it the same coin that got lost in value due to a italian exchange hack?

I was an early investor and lost all the coins of Nano that I held in the exchange. Haven't looked back into it since that loss.

To tackle the questions one by one, if you think having zero tx fee's equal spam attacks that can't be beaten, you must not know blockchain development in the past 2 years that much, we have figured that out long time ago, if it is still failing one day, that means it must be either a huge attack and there is really no gain from it, or it was a bad blockchain to begin with.

Secondly, just because something is scalable and fast doesn't mean it has to be high price, why would people buy nano in millions just because it is fast and can scale? People need more reasons. And yes the team is a bit bad on marketing that is for sure but that is not even it, in 2017 this was the most talked coin behind bitcoin and ethereum, but failed to take advantage of that, even marketing was great and everybody knew it, but still didn't go up too high. I guess people just don't see a reason to buy it, just because it has a good blockchain doesn't mean it worths to buy some.

That's an excellent question. So far, there hasn't been any research conducted that would verify the level of NANO's security against external attacks. My guess is that NANO is much more vulnerable against spam attacks than other cryptocurrencies on the market because the network has a fee-less structure. The attacker could just flood the network with lots of transactions in order to diminish its performance. This hasn't happened yet, probably because almost everybody is focused on the big players on the market.

One thing for sure is that NANO is cheaper and faster to use than traditional cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. But it hasn't gained traction probably because of the lack of marketing/promotion. With low mainstream adoption, the coin will remain under the scope of many serious investors and traders alike. At least, the NANO project is being actively developed and maintained by the community. Its open source design will allow anyone to improve the project or build one from scratch. Remember, it's not about crypto but rather the technology underpinning it. Blockchain is what has made all of this possible. No matter if it's NANO, IOTA, XLM, Ethereum, or Bitcoin, all of these cryptocurrencies serve one common goal. And that is the decentralization of money for everyone. Whenever NANO has a bright future or not, it's yet to be seen. Just my thoughts

What does Nano or Banano have?

Well, it basically depends on how many people are willing to adopt a cryptocurrency for daily payments. While both Nano and Banano are exceptional when it comes to making quick payments without breaking the bank, their level of security/reliability is yet to be determined. Not to mention, merchant/business adoption is extremely low compared to other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, and Ethereum. Use cases for the mainstream world is what truly matters for a cryptocurrency project to succeed in the long run. In other words, it's not about how many cool features or breakthrough technology a crypto has, but rather how useful it is for everyday people. I guess that the public is more focused on the big players on the market because of their unmatched security/reliability and ever-growing mainstream adoption by merchants and businesses alike.

Nonetheless, I believe that Nano will still survive even if the "hype" is over. As long as there's a community behind it, the project will be able to stand the test of time. I see Nano as the #1 platform for micropayments in the future, while Bitcoin remains an alternative store of value for the world. Nano could complement Bitcoin in ways that were never thought possible before. Instant and fee-less payments will certainly bring the attention of mainstream businesses and merchants. The real question is: when will this happen? Everything will depend on the Nano project team's marketing/promotion efforts to increase adoption for the digital asset in the mainstream world. Just my thoughts

When it first appeared it got instant attention and hype and if you check its historic performance you will see it mooned right after listings. But now it seems like market has many options and nano has also lagged on development side, i mean they have not advanced in neither smart contracts sector nor the defo sector which are the hot points in the market at the moment but still i hope nano will perform well in coming months.

are you new on this scene ? because theres already coin in the past that are no fees and lighter weight but same faith they have for this coin . i can say that these coins coins lack of marketing or lack or promotion/exposure and/or  people are just too attached on the coins that they used to be growned up with , too the fact that even if the coins that they loved had some known disadvantages such as high fees , slow transfer they didnt care at all but if you cant bet them dont be like them .  just continue supporting this piece of gem
