Is Litecoin Ready for a Major Breakout?

I think that 2021 will be a very good year for altcoins and Litecoin will also grow very well in price, and therefore this year I invested in Litecoin and am waiting for the price of Litecoin to start to grow, and in general, Litecoin technologies and opportunities are very popular and soon big players will start pumping Litecoin price.

I have seen a lot of posts claiming "2021 is going to be a good year for altcoins".. but do you guys have any concrete reason to say so? Bitcoin has gone up by 180% during the last three months, because its mainstream adoption has received a big boost. Now talking about the altcoins, do they have any such trigger, so that their trading volume and the exchange rates would increase? And all the time, they can't remain dependent on Bitcoin.

Good point, if there's something that this project will offer same a like with how Bitcoin being appreciated by now, it's very possible that the value will rise high as well.

Most of the traders are finding reason before supporting or investing in, some might just blindly invest and follow the trend but most of the time or because of the experienced way back. investors tends to find good reason before jumping into investing their money.

Litecoin seems to have risen a lot with the price of Bitcoin recently. As more and more institutions pay attention to cryptocurrency, I think they will also pay attention to Litecoin. Maybe next year, the price will be even more impressive. Litecoin is still close to its highest price. Expect him to break the previous price height.

Indeed! Litecoin also getting the luxury of being pumped, supporters coming from this project taking this opportunities and ride along Bitcoin to bring new investors and traders to this project, but they needed to bring developments and partnerships to make their own bull run.

I personally think until litecoin takes charge and witness its own bull run independently then it is not ready. Over the years, litecoin pump in price or uptrend has been dependent on bitcoin bull run and this is why it has been unable to have a major breakout. When litecoin independently surge in price; then the new ath will follow and even higher

In the last month alone, the price of litecoin has increased by more than 100%. The next target for LTC is at $154, which it can reach as early as this week. But everything will depend on bitcoin, if its bullish growth continues, investors will prefer BTC and the growth of litecoin may stop.

I think it is obvious that this topic was created at around the right time but also a bit late. Sure when this was written litecoin was around 110-120 levels and now on 130+ levels so we can say that it has gone up a lot, not a "breakout" but it has increased fairly decently in the last week or so.

However the major breakout already happened didn't it? Price was around 45 dollars or so earlier in the year and now it is over 135 which means it has increased x3 in price, isn't that a break out? I would say that should have been something we all consider a breakout. So yes, it was written at the right time because the price of litecoin increased over 10% in the last week so if you bought at 23rd and sold today you would have made a profit, but it didn't do a breakout like expected because it already did that during the year itself anyway with a x3 increase.

The Lite coin # 5 on coinmarketcap which is also called Mini BTC has not shown any impressive performance during the recent Bull run  but during the past week it surged 39% and rallied to $124. It has broken major resistance levels, more significantly it broke 62% FIB. The next major Resistance levels are at $ 131, 135, 151 and 160. As many analysts are expecting a major rally in Alts Market once BTC price stabilizes and BTC dominance Index comes down to 60% then we might see Lite coin breaking its ATH record of $375.

Yeah it isalreading moving and momentum is good it looks like ltc is the next one to follow btc towards its path to moon but if we check critically the price is still way below previous high price so it still has a lot to do.

Very nice chart explaining the Historical Relationship of LTC with BTC. I think LTC has not shown its Real colour in current season. "History always repeats itself sooner or later" if we believe in it and this is the bases of all Technical Indicators/charts then eventually LTC will reach $525. Let's watch and wait with patience.

To me every altcoins most especially the top ones are ready for a major outbreak, once bitcoin is done altcoins will start seeing huge pumps as well, LTC, MONero, BNB, ETH are my favorite altcoins right now and I hold majority of other altcoins

i believe that litecoin has a lot of growth potential, and this can be seen if you draw up the charts and analyze its candle sticks with price action analysis.
Litecoin's trajectory is somewhat similar to that of bitcoin and a break of price resistance at its all tine high will mean it can also increase exponentially in price.
i bought some LTC a while ago and i think holding it long term is the best way to reap the reward of that investment

Those altcoins didn't even need to wait for bitcoin to be stabilized. As far as I know that if this time altcoin's trend is to follow bitcoin.
Litecoin will be taking the XRP's place very soon. I hope that we will see litecoin to be placed at the top 4 CMC. This coin is really worth to replace the garbage coin called XRP.

You are absolutely right the crash of XRP has opened new door of opportunity for LTC to become #4 on coinmarketcap and it will replace XRP soon.  Technically speaking LTC is facing tough Resistance around $130 and if it breaks this resistance then it could finish 2020 with highest price since June, 2020. My long term target of LTC price is $ 525 based on Technical analysis and co-relation between BTC and LTC.

Well said. XRP is losing its credibility very fast and LTC will soon replace XRP on CMC. LTC price is moving around its 20 days Moving average at $125 and once it breaks $ 135 Resistance then it will quickly jump to $145. I personally think that a HUGE Rally in alts will come once BTC price is stabilized and its Dominance Index comes down.  Currently its Dominance Index is around 70.8 % which is very high. Rally in alts is likely to begin once it comes down to 65%.

You are right, It is not yet reached where all Technical Analysts want to see it but it is slowly making progress and breaking Resistance one after other. It is currently trading at $172 which is above its Pivot point and next Resistance is at  $185. It will likely break it ATH Record of 375 within next few weeks.

The current price is around 149  of LTC which is above its  pivot point of 142 . The next Resistance is at 152. There are some early signs of Bull Run in Alts coins now because BTC Dominance is coming down, it stands now around 66%. If History of 2017 is repeated then we will soon see LTC breaking its all time High.

True. BTC and Ethereum have broken their All time high but LTC has yet to show its Real colour. It is one of the Top 4 trusted coin and listed on PayPal, as well. It is being traded above Technically speaking, its Pivot point which is at 148 on daily chart and today's high is $166. According to my assessment, it has to stay above $181 for few days before it breaks $ 200.

Yes, you are right. Over the past few days, Litecoin is gaining some value gradually. I think this ready for the major breakdown. If the value BTC decreases, then it will gain more with all other altos. It's in a good position now but I think the more surprising is coming soon.
