As fir the flash it is similar to the iPhone 5S it's a dual tone flash, (btw it's not something apple invented so no there is no lawsuit incoming)

I think they should do all smartphones waterproof. Perhaps nano technology will help in this case

Nanomaterials you mean yes, the whole phone is already covered in different types of nanomaterials for different reason, for example, some are for against finger print, others to that water drops don't stick to the phone and what's not

And you think that engineering,designing, industrializing,..................... and producing those nanomaterials doesn't require stateof the art equipement and knowledge in nanotechnology field ?
You are really underestimating this field, I do understand it is not a given and a lot of people have no clue about nanotechnology but please do some reading you'll be really surprised.
