I just ranked up to legendary too and received my 1000th merit almost as the same time as you.

I registered on Bitcointalk forum back in December of 2017 and I was never before fan or active user of any other forums, but let's just say that Bitcoin can change your life for better.
3 years later I found myself being active forum member, writing every day in forum and learning new stuff all the time.
This crazy 2020 I waited for some Christmas and New Year gift from bitcointalk Santa and I received it today in form of Legendary rank promotion.

I would like to thank all the friends and fellow members for supporting me all this years.

My advice for all new members is to be active and report all the spam posts in the forum to moderators, and suspicious scam projects in Scam accusations board like I did in this topic for example.
