Who do you think will win and keep on pumping more?

Elon Musk's Tesla stock showing no sign of dumping even when stock markets are red today!

Bitcoin too looks like its on the way to the moon like Tesla.

Who can get to the moon 1st  Tongue?

Its like King of Crypto vs King of Stocks. This 2021 year will be the showdown between the best of these 2 asset classes.

Elon Musk is spending most his shareholder capital to fund his space missions. Maybe with his shareholder money he can use it to go to the moon 1st class.

Or whoever dumps 1st is the loser?

I have just checked Tesla Inc now, the stock with a marketcap of $691.75 billion, bitcoin at around that range too at $577 billion. But, in my opinion, I do not always compare such with bitcoin because bitcoin will still be more powerful than them all in term of marketcap and all. That is why I still always compare bitcoin with apple that has a marketcap of over $2 trillion. Although, $2 trillion is far more than bitcoin marketcap today, even if the marketcap of bitcoin fall today, it will still rise tomorrow because bitcoin will attract more people because of its limited total supply and being deflationary. With time, we will see bitcoin at the top, a time is coming when bitcoin will be incomparable.

We can't really compare both of them, bitcoin is very young compared to tesla company of course if the market cap of tesla will heading up then, bitcoin has a reason didn't surpass tesla because bitcoin was still young.

I believe bitcoin will surpass that tesla near soon, bitcoin now gained too much interest from people and even there is a correction it will always end up price pumping. From time to time people's awareness of bitcoin will increase and since the limit supply of bitcoin was fixed possible it will become expensive soon, not like tesla.

It is really different to compare these two valuable assets.

What if they have the same investors? Lol. I think this is way better for a gambling discussion instead of just a standard thread. It’s going to be more entertaining when it comes to the point where one stock or one as it will dump. I think the disadvantage when it comes to dumping Is bitcoin because they’re a lot of holders of bitcoin and compared to the Tesla stock. They have the majority of stakeholders on it and probably not going to sell out anything soon, But with bitcoin, you will never know who or when they will sell out some of their stacks.

I admire Elon's genius and Tesla's potential but I'm still pretty sure BTC will get a higher marketcap this year. Bitcoin has already overcome Berkshire Hathaway and got into the top 10 assets in the market and this is only beginning Smiley I wish I could bet on Bitcoin in the start of 2020 when it was around $4k  Grin

Yes both are young, but the comparison stops there. How can you compare a 'company' with a central head in Elon Musk to bitcoin? So it's the investor choice that will make the difference, can an average joe invest or buy stocks on Tesla? or they would rather go with bitcoin?

If you're going to ask me, IMO, I will not.

I have checked the price charts of them and I saw that Bitcoin is very volatile than Tesla, it seems Tesla growth continuously than Bitcoin.

There's no need to have a comparison of both of them, investors have preferred characteristics in them to choose and invest.  For long-run profit, Bitcoin is the best choice and if you want to have a short and sure to have profit, Tesla stock is good for you.

Elon musk is the creator of paypal, and there are those who believe who could even be satoshi.

I believe that bitcoin mining might even be benefited by tesla  new batteries and technologies.
Both might reach apple marketcap anytime soon

Tesla certainly had a Bitcoin-like bull run in 2019 and 2020. It was truly astounding. Until this Fall Tesla spent most of the past two years out-Bitcoining Bitcoin haha.

But Tesla is now one of the largest companies in the world by market cap. It only has so much higher it can go, its market cap already is many times higher than where it should be based on its business, but people just like it because Musk is well known and Tesla is the leading edge of EVs. It can certainly keep going up, but at some point investors are going to start asking themselves why the market cap of Tesla is larger than all the other main auto companies combined, despite it doing a tiny fraction of the business they are each doing. Now of course the stock market isn't actually based on economics, but instead just based on psychology of what you think everyone else is going to do, but still at some point people are gonna start getting scared of holding onto Tesla at such astronomical prices, while Bitcoin won't have that problem.

Bitcoin on the other hand is just starting its ascent. Maybe Tesla can still double its market cap the next few years, but Bitcoin might 10x its market cap the next few years. There really is no comparison. Tesla had a couple years to act like Bitcoin but it's at the end of the period, while Bitcoin is just starting to heat up again. We've already seen an order of magnitude gains since the bottom of the Covid crash and the bottom of the bear market, and we'll likely see another order of magnitude in the next 2-3 years. Tesla would have to become like a $6 trillion dollar company to keep up with Bitcoin over the next few years haha.

I wonder why the Tesla stocks are so valuable and their price keeps growing.
Is Tesla finally making profits after years of negative financial results?
Are the people buying more and more Tesla cars during the recession?
I'm not a big fan of electric cars. The production of Li-ion batteries can damage the environment,so advertising those electric cars as "eco friendly" and "green" is very misleading.
Anyway,I don't want to compare Bitcoin to Tesla.

I would never do that. and I am sure most people here would give same answer.

I think anyone can go with bitcoin. no matter how small capital he have. he can buy a tiny bit of bitcoin and become a bitcoin investor. don't know how investment on tesla stocks works . I never invested in stocks.

I wonder why the Tesla stocks are so valuable and their price keeps growing.

don't know about the cars. but the people are buying their stocks in stocks market. that's why its increasing. I don't think a lot of people like electric car either.

The question who will reach the moon first is pretty vague to be honest, do we know what point is considered the moon? The question should be, what should the moon look like or what is the price that is considered the moon. Bitcoin and Tesla are only similar in their market, Tesla stocks increases because the demand is higher than the supply, which is the same as BTCitcoin where the lesser the supply the higher the prices.

I'm not a big fan of electric cars. The production of Li-ion batteries can damage the environment,so advertising those electric cars as "eco friendly" and "green" is very misleading.
Isn't it fallacious to say that electric cars are bad for the environment when in reality it is only the li-ion batteries that are the one that contributes to environmental pollution. Then how come Tesla are slowly moving towards producing a better alternative. They also admitted that li-ion is impractical so what is your point?

There is no way in this world I would exchange half of 1 Bitcoin for 21.5 shares of Tesla or even any stocks for that matter.  Stocks were never my thing and for now to sell in this Bull market to invest in a stock is not a smart idea in my opinion. We have seen some big gains recent and people think a correction will happen soon.  But to sell now for something like tesla stock is out of my question.

Never mind that Tesla shares are completely overvalued, and that Tesla itself's profitability is questionable. What happens if Musk steps down, or is found guilty of some nonsense, or his board attempts a coup etc? Any share is at risk of fundamental risks and vulnerabilities, not Bitcoin.

Tell you what though, give me 3 times the amount of Tesla shares and I'll hand over my BTC.

Dump the shares and buy back BTC. Easy;)

Bitcoin will still win in this confrontation. Because it is not at all dependent on the external market.

There is only one thing Bitcoin and Tesla have in common; they both made their early adapters a lot of money. Otherwise, the two could not be more different.

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that acts as a store of value.

Tesla is a car company.

Bitcoin is decentralized.

Tesla is ran by Elon Musk.

Bitcoin is open and permissionless.

Tesla stock requires being an accredited investor or having a stock broker.

Anything they have in common is coincidence.

Yes both are young, but the comparison stops there. How can you compare a 'company' with a central head in Elon Musk to bitcoin? So it's the investor choice that will make the difference, can an average joe invest or buy stocks on Tesla? or they would rather go with bitcoin?

I think anyone can go with bitcoin. no matter how small capital he have. he can buy a tiny bit of bitcoin and become a bitcoin investor. don't know how investment on tesla stocks works . I never invested in stocks.

That's exactly my point, average joe doesn't want to complicate things specially in terms of our investment. So doesn't make sense to compare them at least in my view.

@buwaytress has laid down a good argument, Elon Musk removing himself from the company will have a negative effect, while in bitcoin, we all know that Satoshi decided to 'hide' his identity and let his invention flourished without him. And we survived and become the best assets right now.

So easy choice here, BTC, FTW.

There's this new battery tech in future called SSB Solid State Batteries that even planes can fly on from a single charge. There's no moving parts in this battery tech similar to SSD hard drives compares to old HDD's. Lithium batteries is old tech from the early 90s, it has liquid/chemicals that can cause a hazardous explosion plus they suck don't last like you got to charge your phone everyday and take long to charge. Solid State Batteries will end the battery problem.

What's the latest with Lightning Network for Bitcoin? Solid State Batteries is the tech Tesla is moving onto so what about lightning for bitcoin?

Both are king of their own market. Bitcoin market is still young but growing rapidly, Today each bitcoin worth more than 40 tesla and if you compare these two during the last months you will easily understand the bitcoin market was rising faster both price and marketcap side. However, some people believe trading on stocks markets would be much safer than crypto market so they would prefer tesla. But generally if you compare these two I would definitely go for bitcoin.

For real! Both are going nuts right now. TSLA passed 800B and is the 8th largest asset in the world behind Gold, Silver, and five other companies.
And Bitcoin is pretty much tied with Facebook for 9th right at this moment in the 700B's.

Tesla has gained 7 or 8% each of the past two days. Bitcoin might be gearing up for another 10% or 20% move soon though, but also could face a correction after that.

Will be interesting to see which one hits a trillion first. Could definitely happen next month (or even sooner!!).

As of now 1 BTC = 43 Tesla Shares and vice versa.

Would you exchange your 1 Btc for 43 Tesla's? I mean Tesla Shares not Tesla cars  Cheesy

Of course I wouldn't. Tesla is run by a simple man and depends greatly on this man.

Say something was to happen to Musk. He could die in a plane crash or get cancer, you never know these days. One day you're alive the other you're not. What would happen to Tesla stock?

What if Musk made some wrong decisions? What if he went insane? With Bitcoin you don't have these problems. It's independent.

There's just one thing that will make a huge difference here.

If Elon Musk wants he can bring in more number of shares in the future by raising another series of funding.
There's nobody here to increase the supply of bitcoin and it's gonna stay finite.

The chances of bitcoin crossing every marketcap in future is very high. So am gonna keep my stakes with bitcoin.

Similar investors or pumpers hehe? All different markets behave similar when the bubble stage is beginning. It will pump very fast then also dump very fast.

In any case, this news article. Will his gamble be right this time?

Michael Burry, the investor whose billion-dollar bet against the US housing market was immortalized in Michael Lewis' book "The Big Short," predicted that Tesla stock would suffer a similar downfall.

"Well, my last Big Short got bigger and bigger and BIGGER too," Burry tweeted on Thursday.

Tesla's stock price jumped 8% that day alone, adding $60 billion to its market capitalization - equivalent to "1 GM, 2 Hersheys, 3 Etsys, 4 Dominos, 10 Vornados," he continued.

"Enjoy it while it lasts," the Scion Asset Management founder and boss added.

Burry disclosed in December that he was shorting Tesla, and he called for CEO Elon Musk to capitalize on his electric-vehicle company's "current ridiculous price" by issuing shares. "Sell that #TeslaSouffle," he added

Burry was portrayed by Christian Bale in the movie adaptation of "The Big Short." He has adopted the Twitter name "Cassandra," a reference to the priestess from Greek mythology who was cursed to share true prophecies but never to be believed.

If Tesla crashes causing the stock markets to crash worldwide then wont that correlate with bitcoin price crashing that down too? If bitcoin crashes markets wont correlate to it however if stock market crashes then all assets correlate to it including bitcoin except bonds/currencies.

Also when will the American people get their $2000 stimulus cheques through the mail from the Biden democratic administration.

Do you guys think the people with their stimulus cheques will buy TSLA or BTC with it? If BTC then 100k btc price easily by spring soon  Cool If Tesla then 2k Price a share like Amazon?

Also can you buy fractional shares in TSLA?

Both BTC and TSLA dumping. Is there some kind of correlation here?

Is it healthy for bitcoin to have its own healthy independent correction or by a forced correlated dip/crash caused by another unrelated asset or by a black swan event?

Looks like Elon Musk is giving Bitcoin a helping hand here. Its like he's making a mockery of bitcoin now.

Why is a company helping bitcoin? Isn't bitcoin suppose to be truly financially independent that requires no help, no bailouts from no one no matter how rich they are?

St the very first sight Elon Musk gave prior to DOGE then again BTC was the hot topic for him as BTC gradually started to pump people went crazy to invest and the rest became history for BTC, then again DOGE skyrockets to it's all time high which was remarkable and unbelievable.

Now Elon Musk just typed bitcoin it played a dramatical role, I wonder people are still made fools as big shots are taking advantage of drop then sell it again in high. Follow the protocols of the market guys else you will lose your hard-earned money.

FTX is tokenizing stocks like Tesla. If anyone is interested, you can read the following article. With the most recent events this type of trade could become vogue and FTX has a great chance of gaining more popularity.

As you have described Tesla is showing its great potential. So Bitcoin and Tesla could at some point come together.

This is a no brainer. Bitcoin will win, (with the help of Elon and his #bitcoin) when i look at Teslas yearly earnings vs their market cap. The company is way over valued, making it slightly unstable if people were to realize that. Thankfully for Elon he has a very committed type of people, wanting to see what crazy innovative idea he has next. But with current political issues, as well as the recent robinhood GME scandal, this will only drive people to trust bitcoin more because they cant trust their own system. Once people start to get more curious about bitcoin its only a matter of time before bitcoin hits its next wave. Im actually investing all my savings into bitcoin and ETH vs a bank or stocks. I dont trust the "free market" anymore, and that is one of the reasons why bitcoin was created in the first place.

I think I will choose cryptocurrency. Let me give an extreme example. If Elon Musk dies suddenly tomorrow, Tesla’s stock price will plummet, but no one can have the same effect on Bitcoin, so I I believe that Bitcoin is more trustworthy.

Who do you think will win and keep on pumping more?

Of course when it comes to pump, Bitcoin has the advantage because of its volatility, so Bitcoin wins, that's my answer to your question. Elon Musk is supporting Bitcoin by putting it in his twitter bio that makes Bitcoin pumps by $6,000 if I'm not mistaken, that's what I read today in a certain article. Bitcoin market is not showing any sign of bearish market (yet) that's why entering long is a good trade entry until now, but don't forget to chart it first for more assurance that your capital won't get liquidated.

Speculatively speaking, counting only the market cap, Bitcoin will win.

Tesla cannot be pumped much more, while Bitcoin could easily double or triple once more are we saw in the past 45 days.

Well, Tesla is hardly an asset class in itself, although it is hard to pinpoint exactly what it is... automotive, AI software etc.

If anyone is serious about investing in electric cars there is also the Chinese rival "NIO" and there are also electric vehicle ETFs.

Regarding the two fighting? I like many others simply hedge my bets by buying it all.

They are more like wrestlers on the same tag team  Grin

Tesla stocks are actually over bought so it can burst any time to be honest so this is high risk investment like bitcoin. For few more years Tesla will be on the high for sure until he 2025 because at that time we can find mission mars is actually practical or just for a public stunt.

Tesla is going hot right now, that's one of the reasons why the dumping is continuous, both are young and Tesla has the potential to actually surpass Bitcoin, but even with Elon's influence, those who do not know him or actually is not close to him would definitely invest in Bitcoin, the marketcap does look good around Tesla but Bitcoin overall is doing better than Tesla, will sti observe if the pumling continues or will it dump big time.

*Now, Tesla is king of stock and Bitcoin is king of crypto...
I can't say either one was superior as both were very hot in the last few weeks. Bitcoin made a new ATH and Tesla too. I think both of them really stole the attention of investors. *Elon is amazing

estimated by many who think the US stock market and Bitcoin are in a bubble phase. However, that does not mean that the bubble will burst in a short and immediate time.

The existence of a massive inflow to Bitcoin assets made the price unstoppable and touched the latest ATH of all time. Now it's not just retail investors looking to Bitcoin. resulting in many enthusiasts to make and enter Bitcoin into a must-have asset.

scale priority is carried out by many large traders and investors prefer to buy Tesla and Bitcoin stocks because they provide more attractive returns than declining gold.

Comparing Bitcoin and Tesla Stocks is like comparing pencil and ballpen so I think it's not fair for a much volatile asset compared to a more stable one. Decentralized versus centralized asset has been being compared but those assets are different. We can invest on both of them but they are not comparable due to different kind of asset.

Instead of Fighting, it looks like they are Teaming up Smiley

Elon Musk helped Bitcoin break that 42k resistance earlier, helped bitcoin to continue its bull run.

Looks like Elon Musk is using his shareholders capital to buy Btc  Grin

So in reality it looks like Tesla Shareholders are indirectly buying Bitcoin Shocked

If Elon Musk takes the Michael Saylor approach that is put his recently purchased bitcoins into the Tesla treasury then that will bring confidence to Tesla shareholders if the dollar crashes so that will only attract more Tesla investors pushing TSLA share price even more higher!

So a clever move by Elon I say.

Not just "looks like", it's a fact now. Here's some fresh piece of information from today's news:

Quote
Electric car maker Tesla has acquired $1.5 billion worth of bitcoin and plans to begin accepting it as a form of payments for its products in the near future, the company disclosed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Source: https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/tech/technology/tesla-invests-about-1-5-billion-in-bitcoin/articleshow/80752098.cms?utm_source=contentofinterest&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=cppst

Also, recent Bitcoin price runups (on 7-8 of Jan steep rise followed by a decrease just a few days later) correlated with Elon's net worth, so it's more than obvious that he has acquired (maybe even a long time ago) a fair amount of Bitcoin.

Now there is no fight between tesla and bitcoin. Because now tesla is a part of bitcoin. Means tesla invest $1.5 billion in bitcoin. So just think now bitcoin is a machine fir tesla to xerox money. Soo don't think more about bitcoin and Tesla's relations.  They are now like husband and wife Grin. And one more thing if you think that there is any chance to compare bitcoin with tesla. In my opinion it is useless. If tesla promote bitcoin then tesla can generate his investment double. So just pray for bitcoin. We don't think any physical company we just think about our bitcoin. Bitcoin is our own company.  Kiss

Bitcoin will continue to grow long after the tesla hype will be over.
You can look at bitcoin as a medium for storing value, and like gold, will surpase any company in the world.

It came into reality just now and there's no need to compare $Tesla to BTCBitcoin. Thanks to him and even though with his several interviews before and keeps saying that he only owns 0.025BTC IIRC. Now, it's proven that him and his company is holding a huge chunk from the market.

Bitcoin, of course, I don’t see any other options at all .. Whoever was watching this situation now, could make good money. It seems to me that the future is definitely for cryptocurrency, in particular for bitcoin.
The future for bitcoin is really clear and promising. That's the reason why many holders never stop holding it and instead of selling most that they hold, they're buying more. Because situations like this can happen once in a while but also don't be too confident that negative situations can't.

all of course will also agree with what you say, there may be a lot of new appearances and look superior but it's only for a moment. @elonmusk may advance Tesla, but in the end will have to admit that Tesla can advance but can it survive the same as bitcoin that has been proven to date.
let alone time will tell all this because bitcoin has been proven and no one will be able to outperform it until now and in the future.

Can any publicly traded company dilute their shares?

For example if I offered a million shares on my IPO date, then a year later I can offer another million shares on top so I diluted share count to 2 million shares? What's the SEC regulations when it comes to offering shares?

With that example above if I diluted shares to 2 million then that should fundamentally crash the stock price by 50% right?

Just to confirm most companies start diluting their shares when share price are at high prices right?

Does the SEC allow shares to be diluted and also allow fractional shares at the same time?

How many shares did Amazon originally offered on its IPO date?

I think this collaboration of the new 2 things that have been progressive over the past few years is one of the best and unbelievable things because as we all know, Elon Musk tell the whole world tha he is up to open about the BTC idea. And so that later this week he moved a tremble action that tooks the whole market noisy. He buy bitcoin in order to make a Tesla coin profitable. I think this was only a start of a new something the Elon are up to. I believe that there are something more Elon Musk are preparing not only for his company but for the whole cryptocurrency world. Who knows, the idea of buying tesl using bitcoin might be a big deal in the next few days.

Possible but of course you would really be needing hella lot of a ride with that.  Tongue

Back on topic which its funny to make out some comparison or trying out to make some choice between the two if the owner/founder itself of tesla
had already considered on jumping into this Bitcoin craze.

Why would need to choose one if you can have both.Right?

In terms of growth I think Tesla is already overvalued, Bitcoin is too young to compare to this company but definitely will surpass large companies in next few years. Tesla is an overrated company like Apple, it may weaken if they find the right competitors, Bitcoin is still the king of crypto that day if Tesla falls.

Both Tesla and Bitcoin are going to the moon and we could expect after some years that the price will continue to increase with both bitcoin and Tesla. I think bitcoin will be the first as it is a cryptocurrency and as its nature, we know that cryptocurrency is much volatile than the stock market which the movement is slow and mostly some of the stock markets take months or years before reaching a good market price. But for sure Tesla is not going to be smoke out by bitcoin as what happened to Gamestop's growth stock could also skyrocket like cryptocurrency.

I don't see this play out this year.

In the long run if Bitcoin survives and becomes a hedge asset for big companies it will win. If only a few big companies like Apple decided to put 1% in Bitcoin Tesla would not stand a chance.

Tesla on the other hand is still a great investment because it grows on its own. Good thing to own if you're a serious investor and have a lot of money to allocate.

Hey fellow, I believe there’s a little misunderstanding when comparing assets. The ideal is always to diversify your portfolio. Both Bitcoin and Tesla are powerful assets, but they are different and with different purposes in my humble point of view. The more of each, the better. Just manage your risks and avoid future frustrations. Hope help you, Success!

Since you created the thread, Elon Musk thought about bridging the gap between cryptocurrency and stock market and he wanted to take advantage of the bitcoin market as well and hence he invested a whooping $1.5 billion in bitcoin as per the documents that came out and if that is true it is an insane amount of money.

In short the fight is over, how many big time companies already invest in bitcoin in the past one year and we will hear many huge investments like these coming in the coming months.

Yeah understand Bitcoin & Tesla joined forces but looks like they have separated and going their own separate ways for now  Huh

I know for a fact:

Elon Musk is a clever guy, before he put in $1.5B into Bitcoin he knew about Bitcoin energy usage. When someone invests $1.5B into something of course they do all research on it before risking $1.5B into it like Michael Saylor did. Its not like he put in $1.5B into Bitcoin and months later realised the bitcoin energy usage lol.

Elon also knew before tweeting his btc energy usage that his crypto portfolio will go down if he did not sell off his bitcoins before his btc energy usage tweet.

As he is still holding his bitcoins and only sold a small amount of if weeks ago for liquidity reasons this suggests classic Market Manipulation

If he dumped all his bitcoins before the tweet then we know for sure he doesn't like bitcoin no more and wants to get rid of it from Tesla.

Bitcoins are cheaper now thanks to him but ask yourselves who is now buying the cheaper bitcoins lol?

Otherwise....

Do you think Elon is planning to flip Bitcoin rank 1 off the charts with Dogecoin this year? I understand Elon is one of the biggest whales of Doge and wants to be the Satoshi Nakamoto of Dogecoin. Turn Dogecoin into Proof of Stake from Proof of Work and introduce doge burn to make doge deflationary or Elon will introduce the idea later this year of Doge Mining and charging your Tesla car at the same time to save energy to promote Doge even more or accept Doge as payment at the Telsa fast chargers but then again he still holding his bitcoins so he still be shooting himself in the foot with bitcoin but gaining with Doge  Huh

Elon is a crook. Even the owner of Dogecoin called Elon a fraud. He's really lost a lot of money and people hate him. He just thinks about himself, elon. Be careful.

Why is Elon tweeting he is working with Doge developers which could mean working with the doge owner himself to improve Doge transaction efficiency or something  Huh

This means Doge developers and Elon Tesla have partnered up?

When did the owner of Doge called Elon a fraud? I bet he said that before Elon pumped Doge up? I dont think the Doge owner will be saying that with Elon helping him by pumping and promoting Doge.

Dogecoin could not have gone up this far without Elon Musk's help, so it is very contradicting if indeed the owner of Dogecoin said negative things
about Elon Musk. I'm also not sure the owner of Dogecoin said anything bad about Elon Musk, because Elon Musk is very supportive of Dogecoin
via twitter. The owner of Dogecoin should thank Elon Musk, for promoting Dogecoin, making it into the top 10 cryptos.

Elon has Autism Asperger's. Its a mentally disorder of the brain.

It is known that some people with autism have the highest intelligence IQ that looks kind of Hidden behind the disorder. Symptoms are lack of social interaction and problems with communication.

Autistic kids has a fascination with 1 particular thing or field. Maybe as a kid Elon fascinated about travelling and going into space that's always on his mind.

It is also known that autistic kids can sometimes move on very quickly from something that they were interested in into now something new.

Ditching Bitcoin and going into Dogecoin because it has a cool picture of a dog on it is behavioural example of autistic Asperger's kids changing interest very quickly.

But I doubt autistic people have memory problems like Elon totally forgot about Bitcoin Energy consumption then realised it months later.

Or whoever dumps 1st is the loser?

hello sir, so here the comparison of the two is very fierce and we can't even choose one of them Tesla with a stock that is much greater than bitcoin while bitcoin has people inside who continue to support its development at this time and bitcoin also has a very strong foundation I can't compare, both of them are very strong in terms of bitcoin, which can be destroyed in an instant even with telsa, so which one is superior in my opinion, both of them will go to the moon together

Hi,

Dogecoin is not thought to be useful for anything, just a meme, as already said.

BUT

1. If you want to bring Crypto to mainstreet, it could be a good idea to create a meme around it, to push people to buy it, and create a pump effect, to bring more people to be interested in cryptos.

2. Something created without any goal, left without any control on it, and that would become mainstreet wellknowned and spread, could be a good starting point to create a worldwide adopted money.

3. Someone with a very large amount of money, could finance new development and enhancement on such a crypto.

Just some thoughts...

I could be wrong, but I don't buy this. His mental disorder is more like a superpower then, because I don't see autists speculating money so smartly like him. People with mental disorders have many difficults in life due to their unstable behavior, especially in financial life. It's common to speculate wealthy and excentric people have some level of autism, but in every cases I have seen, it's nothing more than speculation.
Elon Musk didn't reach to the top 2 of richest men of the world being a fool, so it's really interesting how he made his business accept bitcoin as payment, but some days later he retreated and said bitcoin is harmful to the environment. Of course there are informations behind the curtains we don't have access.

It looks like Tesla will prevent Bitcoin from continuing to rise for some time after the last incidents.  Grin  But Tesla is not Bitcoin's enemy of course. Elon Musk just wanted to manipulate the market some.  Grin  But the investors are the ones who lost a lot of money in this period. Not much thing has changed for HODLers though.

Not entirely true! I am not trying to defend Elon but try to understand one thing. Tesla is a stock market listed company. So ever if Elon owns majority of the shares and he leads the company, he can't take all decisions alone. Every decision has to be approved by the board members and the stakeholders.

Elon backtracked from his decision of accepting bitcoin due to the pressure from the environmentalists. Tesla as a brand name would definitely not want to be a part of any controversy. So to keep Telsa clean, he refuted. He is not a crook.

It's a game! Elon Musk is a good player. he likes to take risks and does it very intelligently. First of all, he takes care of his business, and as his practice shows, he is quite good at it.

I think bitcoin will win this war. Tesla has been taking a lot of damage recently due to Elon. This situation is not pleasant for tesla. Elon may like this kind of madness, but I think it destroys his future.

Among the drama that's happening around Elon Musk and Bitcoin, I genuinely think that Elon has been mandated by the government to destroy Bitcoin (and optionally pump other memecoins to keep people out of the true innovation that is blockchain).

Praising a memecoin once, even twice, is funny for sure.
But reversing realities and pushing people to massively put their money on a memecoin is just dishonest.

Not to mention by his influence of the price, I'm not sure if all that he's doing is lawful... I'm not sure if he would have the same attitude if somebody inside Tesla reveals that electric cars are just hype for now and the beauty of the electric cars picture doesn't hide the true problem of energy and battery production.

Well, I mean he's already a NASA contractor typically a pure defense thing, he cannot be anything other than a government mandated person. The game he's playing is very dangerous and I don't think he's stupid enough to do this his own without any backing.

And please tell me where was he before these 2 last years ? Bitcoin long lived before and still decades and more to go.

Now, I admit that I have never been a fan of Elon Musk. I truly believe he's just a scam surfing on digital marketing.
It's not by selling a 400.000 cars that a company has a market cap of 568B$ company, compared to giants such as Ford, Toyota, Volkswagen. Maybe this is exactly why (he says) he loves dogecoin. Tesla is a memecompany exactly as Doge is a memecoin.
And forget about SpaceX this would never existed without NASA's money. This is a government (backed) project, not really his project.

To finish, I trust Elon Musk is just an enemy of cryptocurrency, no matter what he says.

But I doubt autistic people have memory problems like Elon totally forgot about Bitcoin Energy consumption then realised it months later.

I don't know whether he is mentally unstable or not. But he has probably made billions in profit during the last few months, by promoting the Doge shitcoin. Now if his mental illness has caused it, then I hope that I will get that same type of mental illness. Let's not get carried away. Elon Musk is a businessman, similar to Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos and Warren Buffet. All they cares about is money. For that they will manipulate the markets and do all sort of unethical things such as insider trading. Only the ordinary people will lose out.

I don't think he has trouble finding ways to earn money.
I mean one tweet from him can instantly generate a 2B$ revenue. I mean he can even now retweet "oh sorry finally we think we will continue using Bitcoin" and here are another 2B$ or more...
Plus I don't think he needs more money.
That's why I think his action is broader than just winning money, he is mandated by the government to :
- destroy bitcoin and cryptocurrencies
- control money flows to and from cryptos
- mislead people by publishing false information and giving false advice, to end up hating cryptos or loving a coin more than another

Just some thoughts...

They said the same about social media couple of decades ago when everybody laughed about online friendships instead of real friendships but nowadays there's billions following social media like a religion. In fact Social media now has more devoted followers now than all the world religions combined that it has gathered for the past thousands of years.

Youngsters are getting hooked into social media and 1st thing they come across is memes so yeah Elon is a clever guy and he is trying to monopolise the whole crypto market like bill gates did with Microsoft by getting the youngsters hooked young into meme coins that can be traded on its fashion status/new trends not on fundamentals. Turns the whole crypto market into a meme market where youngsters of the the future will value it on latest fashion trends not on fundamentals and these youngsters will see bitcoin as old fashioned.

Why is Elon tweeting he is working with Doge developers which could mean working with the doge owner himself to improve Doge transaction efficiency or something  Huh

Is it true the 2 developers of Dogecoin abandoned the project years ago and 1 of the developers bought a used honda civic with his profits from doge and both of them are still not wealthy today? If so can the 2 doge developers legally claim profits from Elon Doge gains becaus ethey can say in court to the judge they created right not Elon?

Yeah I said some of the smartest people on this planet are behind a mental disorder portrait or a disability. Professor Stephen Hawking for example.

Doge is a cryptocurrency too so I don't see Elon attacking Doge  Huh

Doge is Proof of Work coin like bitcoin that uses energy mining too.

Can Elon turn Doge from PoW to PoS?

Wth even me typing this post is using Energy Grin

Maybe Musk already started selling. He gave many warnings and while trade bots are always quick to take profits, even the lousiest trader should have picked the change in the market trends. All my indicators are turning bearish and maybe price will drop to somewhere between $15,000 by next year. And this will still be a great thing, Bitcoin performed amazingly and I find it impossible even going bellow $10,000 again.
