I remember I reported an altcoin thread for having duplicate ANN threads. My report was marked as good and one of topics got locked.
I think one of these threads should be locked as well.
I just reported one of these topics.

It is not allowed to have duplicate ANN threads and both threads are actively on-going. One of them need to be locked or moved to Archival.

Like what LUXcoin team did
First ANN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2254046.0 (locked)
Second and current ANN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2422372.0

2 simultaneously on-going threads will break the rule #13 in Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ
13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours per thread. Bumping multiple threads at the same time is allowed if it's not annoying. [2][e]

Next time, use the report button and wait from 24 hours to 48 hours. If no response occurs, check out ---> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=reportlist;mine.
If it was bad and you believe that your report is correct, re-report with an explanation of the rule or create a new topic here.

As for the reason, it is because mods did not pay attention to that topic.

There's a lot of activity in the altcoin section, and these things usually go unnoticed. Both those threads have been active for a while, and I imagine the only ones that have noticed over the years is those that have been actively posting in both.

Alternatively, you can contact me over at the altcoin section, if its within that section for a explanation. If I believe its not a straight forward case, I'll probably reply with my input on it. Obviously, I can't speak on behalf of the other moderators over in that section, and others. Although, I still might be able to offer some input on why something has been ignored, or even marked bad.
