It is a shame really. The exchange owners are a greedy lot indeed. They saw a way to make a lot of money by having paid votes to have coins listed on their exchanges. I was voting for Zeit on Mintpal back when votes were free. You could vote three times an hour without logging in. You could vote six times an hour logged in. Then right in the middle of an epic battle between Zeit and some other coin to see which would be top for votes, Mintpal goes to paid votes. They made a killing!

Yeah its really annoying as the Exchanges are getting full of crap coins who's devs just have deep pockets. Its getting less and less about the community around the coin and more about how much can be squeezed or bribed from them. I have no problem with genuine donations to exchanges to help with running and hosting etc, so long as the exchange owners are upfront about it. These voting systems are simply a way to capitalise on desperate devs.

Hmm... created account about two hours ago and no deposit in my account.  Huh Lots of sellers and not many buyers. Might trade 100 of my Doge or so in order to get some buy activity there.

Ok, traded 150 Doge for 1475 Kilr. I took a bit of a hit on it since the sell price at Bluetrade was 89 satoshi for Doge and it is 97 satoshi at Mintpal. But I wanted to have a buy transaction on there at least. Now I have to wait 12 hours to withdraw since I just created the account there today. All-in-all a fairly painless process, aside from the low buy price for Doge. I could have requested more, but I don't know how long it would have taken form someone to buy them.

UUUUUUGGGHHH!! I'm at work and I just logged on to the pool to check the status of my miner and it shows inactive. My confirmed is still pretty much the same as it was when I left for work, and there is only 0.5 Kilr in my unconfirmed. That can only mean that my lovely wife must have shut my computer off. She's not at home right now either. DAAAMMMMNNN! I just hope I can get home from work and get my miner back online before the reward block!!  Angry
